Blood seeped through my wounds...
Tears pricked in my eyes...
But I was still smiling.
I couldn't give up yet.
No! I wouldn't dream of it!
My friends have suffered in pain because of this.
My friends have experienced and gone through the most horrible of things because of it!
I can't give it all away now! There was something I needed to do...
It all clicked right then and there...Sometimes all we need is a little kindness...
Sometimes kindness is enough...I knew my plan.
I knew what I needed to do.We all managed to stand in a circle, around the beast. We held our paws together as a chosen family and as a pack...
From there..
We finally became one completely...Some unknown magic made us levitate into the air... Winds from the unknown brushed against our fur...
We could all feel the magic drifting inside us...My eyes turned white and I smiled at the bittersweetness.
"Sometimes, kindness is all we need. Sometimes, kindess is enough." I whispered.Magic illuminated the air, and began to burst out of us... It all went straight for the beast...
And somehow, I knew this was right. The beast groaned as it was taken down, but only when we got up from the ground that we had dropped into had we realized...
The beast was still alive.
We had healed the beast...We all walked over to the beast...
It no longer had fear, and it scampered off...The task was completed.
We all began to fade away, together.
This was it...
We were going..."Home. We're home." Tears streamed down my face as I knew we were home...
I had heard some words before it all went to a blur when we arrived back home, "Good job, Shadow."
