It Was Him

Tears had began to collect themselves in my eyes, and no matter how hard I tried to hold them back, I couldn't stop them. The tears were like icicles dropping on you. Or maybe they were like the shattered pieces of my heart?

I looked up at Ethereal, and I felt at home once more.

Instinct kicked in and I just hugged him. There was no stopping me.
It happened.

He was a little taken aback, a little stiff as well. Obviously, he wasn't expecting that...
I didn't let go. I buried my face into his fur, and I just cried.
I suppose in life, we all need to do that. At least once.

He hugged back.
And for once, it seemed like everything would be okay.

Ethereal was an alicorn with a curved horn. He had dark blue fur, but on his chest there was not regular pony fur, but perhaps another creature's fur? It was black with mixed purple and magenta.
He had green eyes and a shield as a cutie mark. His mane was short. It had a mixture of black, purple, and magenta.

He didn't have a regular tail...
It was like a dragon's tail, and at the end, there was fur. The fur at the end was just like his mane, black, purple, and magenta.

This was the pony who brought back color into my life.
...
Because I was paranoid, I walked the path again. I expected to see nothing, but what do I see? All of my new friends talking to each other.
Wolfie joined me on this walk because he wanted to meet my new friends.... It was also because he is a little over protective.

I approached my friends.
"Shadow!" They all said in unison.

"I take it you've all met?" I was happy they met.
