Now I had to use all of the energy I didn't have to try and fly with wings that were more than likely broken.
Yeah, I was screwed. I already felt black feathers that fell off of my wings on my back.
Looka nodded, and with a quick leap she got Ollie into her arms. She was now all the way on the other side of the room... She began linking up with everyone, and she told the others to use all of their energy to link up with their paws.
I was on the other side of the room, away from everyone else.
They wouldn't be able to reach me...
The last one who was trying to reach me was a broken Athena... My heart shattered while looking at her...
With every ounce of energy that I had left, which was nothing, I managed to slowly crawl over to Athena... I was almost there, but that's when the whole floor broke, and we were now falling in the air...
I reached, and reached. With a swift movement, I grabbed onto Athena's wing.
I had no more energy left to fly or hover. I couldn't... Not with my wing all torn up like the way that it was...
Hey, at least we were all going down... Together. I couldn't of wanted it any other way... We fell into the nothingness that seemed like the void...
We would forever be together through this.
In the air, Looka who was on the other side that had Ollie in her paws swung her body toward me, and she managed to grab hold of my paw...
We were all finally connected together in a big circle spiraling to the ground.
In those few moments, I realized this might be life or death. But at least we were going out together.
As a family.
A chosen family.
