"THEO, IS THERE A reason you're dragging me out in the woods in the middle of the day?" I ask, stepping over a log with his help.  "And a reason you didn't tell me to dress for it?"  My skirt hooks onto one of the branches sticking out of the log.  I gently remove it so it doesn't tear and pout towards Theo.

"Come on.  I think you look adorable," he says as he flicks my hat.  "Plus, you dressed for it.  You look like woodland princess."

"Okay, one, you have to say that.  I'm your girlfriend.  Two, don't make things up.  If I was a princess, I'd have a flower tiara or something.  Three, if you'd told me we were going to walk through the woods, I definitely wouldn't have worn heels."

He bends down and starts working on something from the ground.  I can't see it, but I don't mind.  He'll show me eventually when he's done.  I wait with my arms crossed over my chest and take the time to study my surrounding.  Trees, trees, and more trees.

"Why are you wearing heels, anyway?"  He asks, voice muffled since he's faced away from me.

"You told me we were going on a date.  In every single book, I've ever read, the girl is wearing some sort of heel.  Except for fanfics, a lot of them are blowing out stereotypes and dressing us differently, but I was really feeling this so I wore it because you said we were going on a dateYou big ol' liar," I mumble under my breath, but continue to ramble.  "So, I was expecting some flat pavement or some grass without large trees.  Which, by the way, included ice cream and talking and a lot of making out or, at least, hand holding, but so far there has only been a little bit of hand holding and talking, no kissing, and definitely not ice cream.  So, whatever we're supposed to be doing really needs to be explained now."  By the time I'm finished, I'm out of breath and Theo's standing up.

"Luna, this is a date and I promise we will get to it in a few minutes.  I have somewhere planned that I want to take you, but I need you to be a little more patient."  He turns around with something in his hands.  I don't know what it is until he takes off my hat and places it on my head.  It's a flower crown made with intertwined twigs and small leaves  "There.  Now you're a woodland princess."

I laugh, "Did you go to an arts and crafts camp while you were away?  How'd you know how to do this?"

"I won't reveal my secrets."

"Oh, you totally did."  I throw my head back laughing as he sticks his tongue out at me.  He grabs my hand and pulls me along with him to get back to getting to this secret place he won't tell me about.  The trees start to thin making it easier for me to walk next to him.  I hold his hand between both of mine and rest my cheek against his shoulder.  He's wearing a long sleeved shirt that really hugs his body, and his dark jeans makes him stand out in the bright area.
