Chapter 8

I woke up around 5:30 a.m and rolled over to my sexy husband laid Peacefully asleep. I hated to brake his sleep but I couldn't resist, I rubbed my hand across his soft curly hair and watched him as he slept.

    "Baby" I said.

   "Umm" he said rapping his arm around my naked body.

"Wake up" I whispered in his ear. He opened his eyes and rolled me over on my back climbing on top me.

Needless to say I got my motivational morning sex just like I wanted. I looked at the time on my phone, it was now 6:30 A.m. I climbed out the bed and went to the master bathroom to do my Hygiene and got ready for work. I was a doctor at the General hospital where I had been for about Ten years now. I was downstairs making coffee when my husband came downstairs dressed in daily casual attire looking just as good as he did years ago when I first met him with his 6' foot tall slim frame,that same sexy caramel complexion and his soft curly hair. Lawrence was mixed with Indian and black,  We had been together for years, honestly since our daughter was a baby, and she's twenty- one now so y'all do the math.

"Good morning baby" I said.

"Good morning" Lawrence said kissing my lips.

"Oh God get a room" Shi'day said coming in the kitchen.

"Let me guess kissing and sucking on each other again" Rapheal said coming in behind Shi'day.

"You know it" Shi'day said glancing back at Rapheal before opening the refrigerator.

We faced our kids and started laughing, Lawrence rapped his arms around me waist while we both watched and listened at Rapheal and Shi'day crack jokes. Rapheal was sixteen and Shi'day was ready to be twenty. We loved our kids they meant the world to us and it made me proud that we were able to give them better life the right way. We sat down and had breakfast before Shi'day got up from the table in a rush to get to school. She was in Med school, that was always her dream to follow in my footsteps.

" Hey shi' can you drop me off at school"? Rapheal asked shi'day.

"Yeah... You better come on I don't wanna be late for school myself" she said.

Shi'day kissed Lawrence's cheek... "Bye daddy... Love you".

"Love you to baby" Lawrence said.

Then she kissed mines "Bye mommy I love you to".

"I love you too sweet enjoy ya day" I said.

Rapheal kissed my face and dapped fist with his Father then they both head for the door...

"I'll see you down at the restaurant later son" Lawrence yelled out.

"Ard" he yelled back. Him and Shi'day left the house.

Me and Lawrence finished our breakfast before we both headed out to work. Lawrence owned a restaurant Big Joe's in the upper part of Chicago which was named after his great grandfather who was a well known cook. We had careers now, he had left the drug game alone for his family when I looked at him I seen a different man. I seen a man who changed his way for his family and never looked back.

It was going on ten something  at night, I sat in my Benz truck  pulled down my mask  covering my entire face as me and my boys planned to robbed this wealthy upper class nigga we had been watching all day. We knew everything about him where he worked, what he did in between time and even where he lived. The minute he went into his nice ass house we was at his back door. He was scanning through mail on the table when he felt to cold steel of my gun pointed at the back of his neck.

"Try anything stupid and my gun is going in ya mouth" I said.

"Move nigga" Damon said as he pushed the man towards the living room.

That's my nigga Damon that nigga is as crazy as they come. He been my nigga since we was kids, he was brownskinned  6'foot slim ass nigga with a low cut.

"What is it that yall want"? The frightening man asked.

I chuckled " nigga is that a trick question... We want money of course nigga.... You owe Benny remember"? I said with my gun still aimed at him.

"And we know you got it so don't even try to play" Lil.Travis said.

That's my other nigga Lil. Travis right there I've known him a little longer than Damon but we never counted time. Travis was a more calm laid back type, he been through a lot with losing his pops at a young age and shit but it didn't fuck him up if anything it motivated him more. Lil. Travis was 20, but he acted way mature for his age most people said he had a old soul. The man gave us the run around until Damon started making threats and shit. Damon's threats worked tho, cause soon after we left out with money and property...

  And Nah we didn't have to kill him to get what we wanted.
