Chapter Two

A couple of days has went by since a certain girl has taken an interest in a curvy brunette.  As Lauren walk through the halls, texting one of the girls that she recently met at basketball camp. She was cute but as of right now, the only person that was holding her attention was the one person she has yet get the balls to talk to. She makes it to her locker at the same time Dinah did.

"So Laurenza, have you asked her out yet?" Dinah asks with a smirk while leaning her shoulder against the locker next to Lauren's. Lauren rolled her eyes, pulling her locker open.

"And why would I do that when I said that I'm staying single this year, oh blonde one?" Lauren says trading her books for the ones she has homework for since school just let out.

"Ummm maybe because you want her fine sexy ass since you guys always look at each other in class, in the hallways, in the cafe. Hell, anytime you guys are in the same area you guys are looking at each other. Y'all basically eye fucking the shit out of one another. So what is stopping you, playa or should I call you pimp?" Dinah asks tilting her head trying to think of what word would better describe Lauren. Lauren frowns at her and roll her eyes.

"How about neither?"

"Oh, whatever. What's really stopping you from talking to her? Are you scared or something" Dinah asks with her hand as if she was waiting for money to be put in purses her lips,

"You can't be serious. Maybe I'm just not into her that way. Or maybe I was serious when I said that I'm staying single this year" Lauren said looking at Dinah with her eyebrows raised. "And put your hand down already, damn " Lauren grabs her hand putting it down not waiting for her.

"You not 'into' her?" Dinah says with air quotes around 'into'. "Sure you're not 'into' her that's why you're always checking her out when she's by you. You're not fucking with anyone, Lo " Dinah tilts her head, " i think Hoe better describes you but anyways," Dinah shakes her head to focus, "I'm going with your scared for some reason." Lauren rolled her eyes while shutting her locker, "Yea. I don't know if it's because you could actually really like her or if it's just her sister who is fine as well" Dinah closes her eyes for a second as if she is imagining her in her head. Lauren furrows her eyebrows at Dinah's expression and starts to smile before giggling. Dinah's eyes pop open once she realized what she was doing and then narrows her eyes at Lauren.

"Looks like I'm not the only one who is 'into' someone." mimicking Dianh with the air quotes, "How come you haven't talked to Zendaya?" Lauren asks leaning against her locker and smirking at Dinah. "Are you scared?"

Dinah rolls her eyes, "No. I'm just trying to figure out if I want to fuck with her or not and I haven't decided yet." Dinah says shrugging her shoulders trying to brush it off. Lauren nods her head,

"Uh huh. I totally believe you right now" Dinah glares at her making Lauren laugh again. Dinah rolls her eyes before focusing her eyes on Ally and the person she was walking with. Dinah starts smirking. Kehlani walks closer as her and Normani spilt ways nodding her head,

"Ok Normani . Sounds good" Lauren freezes once she hears Normani's name. She whips her head around quick trying to locate where Normani was.

"Well don't break your neck, Ralph. I mean since you're not 'into' her and all right." Lauren rolled her eyes and cursed herself for being so obvious. She looks at Dinah who was laughing at her now.

"Why are we still friends" Lauren says smirking and Dinah pushes her,

"You love me and you could never be without me obviously since I'm amazing and will be your stylist when you become an WNBA Superstar and I love you because you get me when Ally and Kehlani doesn't get me at so of course we would be friends but not only that but best friends. Also, I tell you the truth and here is the truth, you are whipped" Lauren smiles shaking her head as Kehlaniwalks up and Lauren ,of course, notices she is by herself.
