Lauren barely made it to practice on time yesterday and during practice, she was basically harassed by her teammates, asking her questions in regards of Normani and if it meant that she was still single. She answered the questions with the same answer and her teammates made it seem like they didn't understand. Lauren was annoyed and thankful that her coach just yelled at everyone to quit talking and start shooting before punishing them again since coach wasn't over the team fighting. By the time practice was over, the whole team didn't have enough energy to focus on Lauren. Dinah stayed the night so that they could get up early to bake cookies for her homecoming elections. "Ok, that's the last batch?" Dinah asks her as Lauren nods while taking them out, "Good because I don't think I can bake anymore" Dinah says taking a seat on the stool.

"You barely even did anything. I did everything." Lauren places them on the stove, waiting for them to cool off and not keeping still.

"I tasted a few of them" Lauren rolls her eyes,

"Yea, that's something alright" Lauren says turning to pull a water out the fridge to drink chugging it all at once. Dinah looks at her and frowns. There was something off about her,

"What wrong, Lo" Lauren tenses for a second, "Yea something is up. Tell me" Lauren slowly turns around,

"Tonight is my first actual date with Normani and I don't know what to do" Dinah knows how much this date means to Lo. "I mean, who goes on a date on a Wednesday night? We have curfew at 10. Movies is a no because I actually want to sit down and get to know her more and kiss her without drawing an audience. I can't take her to dinner because that's something everyone does. I want her to know that she's special to me. I'm running out of options Dinah and I don't know what to do" Lauren says freaking out and running a hand through her hair. Fuck I should've thought more into this! Dinah gets up quickly and makes her to Lauren,

"Lo, calm down. We'll think of something" Lauren shakes her head clearly knowing this was bad. Shit! "Ummm"

"What is there to do on a Wednesday night?" Lauren says walking back and forth. "I should just cancel" Lauren turns to look at the cookies and then gets ready to move them to the container.

"Cancel what?" Clara walks into the kitchen, "Cookies look good girls."

"Lauren's date" Dinah says shrugging her shoulders until Lauren whips around to stare at her with wide eyes. "What?"

"You have a date Lauren?" Dinah mouth forms a little 'o' as she now gets it. Lauren hasn't told her mom yet but now her mom knows and it wasn't from Lauren's mouth. "With who and it better not be that crazy Latina chick you were arguing with" Lauren looks at her mom with a confused look, "You know, when we went dress shopping" Lauren laughs,

"Her name was cyn and no it's not" Dinah giggles,

"I would slap Ralph if she did that, Mrs. Jauregui" Clara releases a sigh,

"Good." Lauren receives a text and smiles, "Is that her?" Lauren looks up,

"It's Normani" Clara nods,

"See that's who you should be going on a date with" Lauren closes her eyes trying to fight the smile but Dinah starts giggling, "What?"

"She just told you" Clara looks at Dinah then back at Lauren.

"Told me what?" Lauren rolls her eyes at her mom,

"I'm going on a date with Normani." Clara starts smiling, "Well, supposed to be but I don't know where to take her" Clara frowns, "Oh, and she's my girlfriend just to let you know" Clara smiles again,
