Chapter Thirteen

It was Thursday and Lauren sat on the bench with Kelani, Ally, and Dinah chatting about the upcoming dance. They were at lunch and decided to relax out in the sun for the remaining time of lunch. Lauren had her ray bans on and was watching Normani with a little smirk on her face. Normani would look every so often at Lauren but didn't know that Lauren was looking at her. So obvious babe. It was building Lauren's ego every time she looked over especially since Shana was trying to talk to Normani but was having trouble at keeping Normani's attention. Not wor-. Lauren's mouth drops in shock at the fact that Shana was kissing Normani and Normani wasn't pulling away. The fuck?! Normani was shocked that Shana was kissing her and all she could do was just stand there. She glanced over at Lauren and saw that her mouth was now shut and her jaw muscles were moving rapidly. Normani knew Lauren was pissed but it wasn't like Lauren could do anything about it. They weren't dating yet but it still made her feel guilty that she was letting Shana kiss her in public. This is bullshit.

Lauren knew she didn't have a right to be mad but she still was. She felt like Normani was ashamed to kiss her in public but not ashamed to kiss Shana in public even though Shana initiated the kiss. Is she more similar to " C " than I thought? The bell rings and Lauren stands up, quickly bidding a bye to her friends as she walks towards Normani. Lauren saw Normani's eyes widen like she knew she was in trouble and you could almost see her mind scrambling to come up with an excuse. Good. She saw Becky a couple of lockers away from Normani. Two can play this game. So, she just walked straight past Normani to Becky and couldn't help but smirk when she saw the confusion on Normani's face before it turned into a frown. "Hey Becky" Becky looked up and grinned at Lauren,

"Hey Lo. What you doing this weekend" Lauren shrugged her shoulders,

"I'll be outta town. I'm going to Florida State for a recruit trip" Lauren says feeling Normani's stare on her, "What about you?"

"I was gonna ask you if you wanted to train with me this weekend since I miss hanging out with you" Becky says with a little pout. That shit ain't cute. Lauren shrugs, "After practice, do you wanna hang out a bit at the grille?" She asks Lauren. Nothing wrong with hanging out.

"Sure. I'll see you then." Lauren says as soon as the bell signals that lunch is over. Lauren gave her a smile before walking towards class. Not a minuted later did she feel someone grab her arm,

"Hey Lo" Lauren tuned and saw that it was Normani. "Look, about what happened with Sha-" Lauren shook her head,

"Don't worry about it. We're just friends in public. You do whatever you want" Normani released a sigh,

"Lo" Lauren shook her head,

"I have to get to class. Bye Normani" Lauren turned and started walking again to class leaving Normani to feeling frustrated with herself. Lauren didn't want to talk and tell Normani how she felt nor did she want the apologies. She should've known since Normani said she was still going to talk to other people and only hang out with Lauren when she wants to. Lauren rolled her eyes behind her glasses before taking them off as she walked into her class and took a seat. Everything was good on Monday, they made out with each other again after school before Lauren went to practice. Lauren couldn't get enough of her kisses, her touches, her moans. Fucking blinded! She was in a good mood all throughout practice and broke her high score of 40 in a scrimmage . Afterwards, she went home and took a shower, ate dinner, did her homework before calling Normani up and talking to her on the phone til midnight. She thought life was good. She went to school the next day and immediately found Normani at her locker. She asked if she wanted to hangout but Normani declined her saying not today since she was busy making Lauren frowned a little bit but nodded thinking tomorrow. So much for that. The next day came and Normani again told her she was too busy to hang out because she was hanging out with Leigh- Anne. I wish she was my girl looking ass. That pissed her off, of all people to hang out with, granted Lauren didn't want Normani to hang out with anyone besides her but obviously that wasn't happening until Lauren finally let go of all of her girls and then ask Normani to be her one and only. Lauren rolled her eyes and let out a big sigh. This is what you wanted.
