Bethany's POV; Same Day. 7:34pm.
I stand on the sidewalk of Hollywood boulevard, and wait for Morgan to get here. She texted me and told me she'd be here soon.
I see a black Honda Accord pull up with tented windows. The window rolls down and I see Morgan!
Morgan: Hey sorry I'm late! Traffic.
I don't say anything, I just hop in the car.
She sits up straight and leans towards me, embracing me in a hug.
Morgan: Happy birthday dude!
Bethany: Thanks.
She begins to drive off.
Bethany: So what movie are we seeing?
Morgan: Uh I was thinking that before that we go and get some food? I'm starving.
Bethany: Um okay, sounds good.
I'm never the type to do something for my birthday, I usually just stay home and have a girls day. I'm a little nervous, I guess just because I don't know what to expect.
Morgan: You seem anxious, you okay?
Bethany: Yeah, I guess so. Daniel and I had a fantastic night last night. But he hasn't even texted me today. I left early this morning when he was asleep and I haven't heard from him at all today.
Morgan: Fantastic might? ooo Beth.
Bethany: That's besides the point.
Morgan: I don't know Beth, maybe he needs some space?
Bethany: Maybe... he told me he gave me this necklace early because of the things he wanted to do today. Which makes no sense.
Morgan: Let me see the necklace.
I face her, and she looks really quickly, taking her eyes off the road, looking at it, and then placing them back there again.
Morgan: Oh my gosh, that's beautiful!
Bethany: I know, he's so sweet. I'm just hoping he's not mad at me or something...
Morgan: I think you'd be surprised about how wrong you are.
Bethany: What does that mean?
Morgan: I don't know.
She smiles faintly, trying to hide it, but it peeks through.
We stay silent for a few minutes, with the radio faintly playing until we reach the restaurant.
Morgan: Trust me, he's probably doing something important. Let's just have fun tonight.
She's right. I get out of the car, leaving all of my boy problems in there and walk inside.
Before I could even walk all the way in, I hear a huge surprise and soon see many people surrounding me.
Bethany: Oh my gosh! no way!
Morgan: Surprise.
Bethany: So i'm guessing we're not going to the movies?
She laughs and I join in.
Morgan: No.
Slight background music begins to beat and I see no sign of Logan or the boys.
I spoke too soon.
Daniel comes out in a tux, with the rest of the boys, Corbyn holding a guitar and he begins to sing happy birthday to me.
He takes my hands with everyone around us watching, but in this moment it didn't feel like anyone else was there. Just us two.
I embrace him in a hug.
Daniel: I love you, happy birthday.
Bethany: I love you too. Thanks for doing this, even though I would have never done this for myself.
He takes my hands again then pecks me on the lips.
Daniel: You're welcome.
The rest of the boys walk towards the front door where they greet some people who have just walked in... late.
I look behind me, trying to see who it is, but the lights casting down from the dance floor make it hard to see.
Daniel: Oh Anthony's here, late of course.
Bethany: Who?
Daniel: Oh that's Anthony.
Bethany: Anthony? Trujillo?
Daniel: Oh yeah, you know him?
I look at Daniel.
Bethany: Um... Unfortunately...
A/N: I SAID A BOOM BOOM BOOM NOW LEMME HEAR YA SAY WAYHOOO!
