Pt 2 Chapter 40

Daniel's POV

Anthony puts his hand out and we do the whole "cool" man hug. I guess that's what you could call it.
Beth ran off a few minutes ago. I don't know what was up with her, I'm sure she just needed to go powder her nose. Pshtttt do girls even do that anymore?

    I continue exchanging conversation with Anthony and his friends Jake and Chance.
   I know Jake, he's Logans brother. He mainly talks to Logan for their vlogs. I see Morgan in the middle of the dance floor... She looks a little lonely.

I look at her and we make eye contact and she waves excitedly and walks over to me.

   She begins to talk before she is close enough to where I can hear her.

Daniel: What?

I shout.

Morgan: Where's Bethany?

She shouts back.

Daniel: I don't know? Should I go look for her.

She looks at me with a dumbed face, like I did something wrong.

Morgan: Are you kidding? It's her birthday and she's probably by herself... don't you think you should look for her?

Daniel: I don't know, she kind of seemed like she wanted to be by herself.

She looks at Jake, then Chance, then Logan.
Her eyes widen when she sees Anthony.

I grab her arm and take her away from the guys.

Daniel: Is there something I should be worried about? About Anthony?

She immediately snaps.

Morgan: What no... no!

Daniel: Are you sure?

Her being a terrible liar says that she has to go. I grab her arm once again to where she's facing me.

we both pause until she speaks again.

Morgan: Go find Beth... ask her.

She walks away and I look at the boys. I walk away from their direction and immediately go find Beth.

I ask people if they've seen her. No sign.

I make my way to where the bathrooms are located and I see a girl in the corner, sitting with her legs crossed on the floor. I make my way to her and take a seat.
  
Beth: Hey.

Daniel: Hey. Are you okay?

Beth: Yeah. I'm fine.

She doesn't make eye contact with me.

Daniel: No your not...

I lift her chin up.

Daniel: Tell me what's going on.

Beth: I can't.

Daniel: Bethany, yes you can. I want to make things better.

I place my hand on hers.

Beth: No Daniel...

She takes her hand out from her mine and I pull mine back.

Daniel: I'm not leaving you alone until you do. I want to fix whatever is making you feel this way.

Beth: Fine... You want to know?

I nod.

She begins to tell me everything.

Bethany: Anthony and I dated... we had a serious relationship. We broke up because we both had trust issues. He was either here in LA or in Ohio and I was always in Colorado. It didn't work out.

My heart sank a little bit. Not because I didn't like the things she was telling me, but because she thought I would break up with her from this... I hug her.

Bethany: I don't want this to mess up our relationship. That's why i didn't tell you. You can still be friends with him. I just want you to know that I love you and I always will.

'I love you too'
I whisper.

We release and I grab her hand, leading her to the dance floor.

A/N: HEY, okay i really do apologize about how in active i am on here. and it's because i have had kind of a lot of stress and in my free time i'm just wanting to chill a little bit more. BUT I am going to be having chill time more often now because my room is almost done being decorated. WHICH IS DOPE. ight see ya! i'll probably upload one or two more today! love you guys!
