Chapter 48

Bethany's POV

I sit up on my bed whilst sad music plays in my ears. Of course, typical break up...

Logan has been trying to cheer me up lately but nothing, not even Kong could make me happy right now. I've been cooped up in my room for the past 3 days... living off of ice cream, gaterade and sun chips. 

  I am constanly looking at my phone, seeing if Daniel  has even opened my texts but nothing... I guess he doesnt want anything to do with me anymore. I get a few texts from the set group chat, aka Anthony, Mackenzie, Dominique, Nathan and Sarah. They keep talking about how we have to be on set at 6:00am tomorrow and all I want to do is leave this stupid chat.

I put them on mute and turn my music on full blast. As I burry my face into my pillow I feel the vibration of Logans foot steps coming towards my bedroom and take one earphone out.

Logan: BETHANY!!

He says with a megaphone, which causes his voice to echo throughout the apartment.

I glare at him and smack my head into my pillow once again.

Logan: Okay but Beth... Your friends are over.

I sit up immediately wondering to myself "What friends" Then get up and try and look like I have taken a shower in the past 72 hours... I start off with my hair, I run a brush through it, brush my teeth and spray myself with perfume. I wack on a layer of mascara and then put on a pair of leggings and a cropped hoodie.

I walk out of my room and see Morgan, Jonah and Aspen standing by the door.

Jonah quickly walks over to me and gives me a big hug, asking me if im okay. 

Then Morgan comes over, and followed by Aspen.

Aspen: I heard about you and Daniel.

Beth: Ugh can you not maybe?

Aspen: Sorry I just want you to know Im here for you. 

Beth: Yeah okay thanks.

I awkwardly look down, holding the tears back.

Beth: I was suposed to go apartment shopping today but... I dont think I am doing that anymore.

Jonah: Beth...come on we'll go with you.

I look at Jonah.

Beth: I dont know I am just not really feeling the whole independence thing. Id rather stay with Logan anyway.

I look to Logan.

Logan: huh?

Beth: I was saying Id rather stay with you then get an apartment. I am sure Logan can say the same so whats the point in getting one.

Logan: Nah Beth, you need to get a place. Youre annoying.

He laughs and looks at me, hoping I know he was joking.

Beth: That was a joke right?

Logan: Yes bethany, that was a joke.

He laughs again.

Beth: See.

Morgan: Beth, looking at apartments doesnt mean youre going to move into one. Its just like window shopping.

Beth: Can we go real shopping... Like at a clothing store?

Jonah: We can after you look into apartments.

Beth: Fine...

We walk over to the door and I grab the keys.

Jonah: Logan do you want to come with us?

Jonah peeks his head around the corner and looks at Logan.

Logan: Did I hear shopping? 

Jonah: Uh yeah.

Logan: I need vlog content so I guess so.

We laugh and make our way downstairs. I am looking into the apartments across the street because thats where basically all of the youtube creators live. I know alot of people in that building and its basically like a little family over there.

   We walk out of Logans building and begin to walk towards the building with a few people noticing Logan and Jonah on the way. I start to feel the anxiety build up in the pit of my stomach and I begin to pick up my pace without me realizing. We look both ways and cross the street, many people following us and I can see a few people on the other side waiting and screaming "be a maverick". My head began to pound with all the noise going on around me. I felt my self getting dizzy so I hurried on over to the sidewalk. 

    I hear my name being called from all over and begin seeing two of everything. I see Jonah run over to me and ask me if I am okay. I try and speak but nothing comes out of my mouth, just a mixture of sounds. I hear Logan try and snap me out of it but nothing works. I walk towards to wall so I can take a seat, away from everyone but Logan and his fans follow me which make everything worse. I glance over to my right and see Anthony, he doesnt see me at first but when he does he comes running over, which isnt the best time because then I start thinking of Daniel again and the sadness overtakes me. I begin to feel myself fall and a big bang was echoed throughout the street. I hit my head on a pipe and my body slowly makes contact with the ground as many people look over me my eyes begin to fade into darkness.
