Chapter 57

Bethany POV

3 weeks later.

I feel a tickle on my nose and a huge moist paste hit my face. I open my eyes— well one eye and see the curls run out of my room.

Bethany: "JACK AVERY!"

I jump out of bed and run into the bathroom and grab a towel. I wipe off my right eye and blink a few times until I can see clearly. I then throw the towel onto my bed and run into the living room of Logans apartment. All of the sudden I find myself on the couch and Daniel on top of me.

Daniel: Gotcha!

I laugh as he tickles me.

Bethany: Daniel I swear stop

I say still laughing.

He stops and pecks my lips before getting up.

Jack: Hey, nice face.

I touch my face and find whipped cream still all over my cheek so I rub it off and start chasing Jack once again. We end up in Logans room with him in the bathroom.

Logan: Oh hey it's Beth.

Jack and I both pause as Daniel walks in slowly behind us.

Jack: Yeah she's been back here for a while. I say a while and I mean a while.

He chuckles a little, and looks and Logan like he's crazy.

Logan: Well Jack yes I know. But i have a surprise for you.
I back up a bit knowing Logans surprising are always pranks.

Logan: Oh Beth don't be scared it's actually really good.

Maverick squawks.

Logan: See maverick thinks so too.

Bethany: Okay what?

He goes into the kitchen and grabs a plate. Smashes it and pulls out of his pocket what looks to be a key.

I run up to him, trying to avoid stepping on the glass and grab it.

Beth: A key? aw is this to my heart.

Daniel coughs.

Logan: No it's actually to this apartment.

Beth: What?

Logan: I'm moving out so I figured why not.

Beth: Wait you can't be serious.

Logan: I'm not serious, i'm Logan. But yeah my middle name is actually serious too.

Beth: Wait. is this a prank?

I turn to Daniel and Jack and see if they're in on it.

Daniel: Wait Logan you're being for real?

Logan: Yeah. Completely, 100%.

I embrace him in the biggest hug as Jack and Daniel join the group hug.

I have been looking for an apartment for forever. I can't believe Logan would do something so nice for me. I still think it's a prank to be honest...
