Chapter 15

bethany's POV

i feel a slight kiss on my lips and i hear a faint "goodbye". i roll over on the bed until i'm facing him and give him a hug.

me: i love you, have a safe flight and text me when you land.
i say laying my head on my pillow, still half asleep.

daniel: i love you too. i'll see you in a few weeks.

my alarm then goes off a few moments later. time to start the day. the next month or so is going to be a lot different. daniel is going to be gone and i'll be here just with the rest of the boys. i see my camera on the floor by the bathroom and i pick it up. i set up a tripod and begin to talk.
i share all my experiences that i've had here. even a little insight on my relationship with daniel. i start to become more and more comfortable with the camera. i talk for a good while, just venting, about everything. this is going to be a long video to edit. but i'm glad i'm almost done.

i walk downstairs, still recording and start filming each of the boys. i tell all of them to say something random. something that they want people to know.

jonah: you know bethany, i don't think a good film is complete without a montage.

me: montage? as in a slow motion transition shot?

zach: yes. it's not always slow motion though.

me: okay, teach me.

zach: we need a good area, a pretty area. one that has many flowers and a good view.

jack: what about by the sign.

me: hollywood sign?

jack: heck yeah.

i've never been to the hollywood sign before, I've never really seen it.
me: i'm down. but i'm still not too sure how to make this montage thing.

corbyn: i'm sure logan can show you. he does cool transition shots.

logan looks up from his meal.

logan: me?
he says with a little excess food in his mouth.

corbyn: yeah you're a vlogger, i'm sure you can teach young bethany here some dope shots.

logan: i mean if dabbing in many different places is a cool "transition shot" then yeah i'm down.

he says in a sarcastic tone.

me: we'll figure it out.

jack: nice attitude.
jack says in my ear as he walks past me and up the stairs, making slight eye contact while he turns around the corner.

logan: let's gooooo boiiii.

logan seems to be a really loud person at times, i don't know how these boys cope with it. but then again they are all pretty loud. it seems a lot quieter though. probably just because daniel isn't here by my side.
