Chapter 44

Bethany's POV
Friday. 7:12am

Today is the day. I'm excited yet scared... I'm nervous too. Yesterday I told myself that I would tell Daniel what i've been keeping from him. I might not even see Daniel today... I know that's a silly excuse but it's true. I have to be on set at 9:00 so I have some time to kill.
I get up and go ahead and hop in the shower, I begin to wash my body and hair, with a few dance sessions in between.
I then get out and dry off my body. I blow my hair dry, brush my teeth then get dressed.
I wasn't told to wear anything in specifics, but I should probably wear something comfortable.
I put on a pair of leggings, a cropped t-shirt with my white yeezys. I look outside and see dark clouds, so I grab a light rain jacket and throw that on ontop and head into the living room where I see Logan at his desk.

Logan: Are you ready for your big day?

Bethany: According to you everyday is my "big day"

I laugh. While Logan tries to explain but ends up laughing with me.

I go over to the refrigerator and grab some food. I make myself some toast. Something quick.

Bethany: Hey Logan.

Logan: Yeah bro?

Bethany: I can drive your car right.

Logan: As long as it's not the yeti yeah.
He chuckles

I take a bite of my toast and grab all my things and head out the door, saying bye to Logan and Brendan on my way out.
I glance at my phone and the time says "8:23"
So I stop by starbucks and I grab a coffee.
Set is only about 10 minutes away so I go in and take a seat so I can kill some time.
The moment I sit down, I immediately get a text from Daniel.

Daniel: Good morning! I hope you have a fun time on set. Can we make plans for later?

I hesitate in this moment.

Beth: Depends what time I end.

...

Daniel: You can't avoid me forever Beth, I know something's going on. Can we at least talk?

Beth: um. i guess so.

Daniel: 5:00? Logans?

Beth: Sure.
read 8:25.

I get a nervous feeling in my stomach, the one i've been feeling recently.

I try and forget about it and make my way to set.

TIME SKIP.

8:45am

I, of course, get here early. I like being early though, it makes me feel less stressed.
No one else is really here, except for the people that were asked to be a little early.
I go into the main room where we will be having a table read, the director told me to come in here.
There are two other girls already sat at the table. I take a seat and introduce myself to my co-workers.
The one day across from me, her name is Abby, she has red hair and is playing my best friend in this movie. The other girl is Mackenzie, she is playing the mean girl.

Mackenzie: It's so nice to meet you.

Bethany: Nice to meet you guys too. I'm so excited.

Abby: Me too.

We begin to talk about ourselves and try and get to know each other before we start reading. These are nice girls and I can tell we won't just be friends in the movie but friends out side of the movie as well!
