When I got to school the next morning, I ran straight to Abby's locker. I had to tell her about what happened. I pretty much owe her my life. Now, I'm not saying that she was right, because I still don't believe her when it comes to him liking me. But, and it's a BIG BUT, if she didn't tell me to DM him I definitely wouldn't have done it.
"Abby!! Abby!!!ABBY!!!!!!!!!"
"What?" she laughed.
"You are not going to believe what happened last night!"
"Look" I handed her my phone and let her read the conversation.
"You told him!"
"Yeah"
"He has a habit of over using winky faces." she was still scrolling through the messages.
"I think it's cute" I giggled.
"He thinks you're cute."
"What did I tell you about that?"
"It's true. Do you want me to lie?"
"It's not true. I told you-"
"I know. There's thousands of other girls and someone like him and blah blah blah"
"Well that's the truth. And-"
"Whoa, what's this?"
"What?"
"Is this his number?"
"Maybe." I blushed.
"Are you gonna call him?"
"I don't know. And why are you going through my phone? All you had to do was read a conversation."
"Well, what's the worse that could happen?"
"I don't know, he thinks I'm insane?" I snatched my phone from her hand.
"Well, any guy who utilizes practically the entire internet to find a girl he just met, obviously has a thing for her. And you have a thing for him."
"But that's different. I've 'had a thing for him' for quite sometime because obviously I'm a fan. There's no guarantee that these 'feelings' or whatever are real."
"Okay. But he did say that he wanted to meet you."
"He already did. I fell on him remember. I really don't think he would want to see me again after what happened."
"Will you just forget about that? So, you're a little clumsy. That doesn't make a difference as to whether or not he likes you. Why are you doubting yourself?"
"I don't know. I just-" the bell rang.
"We better get to class. Think about what I said. I have a strong feeling that Magic Boy seriously likes you. And I think you're just scared."
As I walked to class, her words echoed in my head. Maybe I am scared.
