"Would you like to tell me where the hell we're going?" I asked. Abby was dragging me by my wrist towards the train station.

"You'll find out when we get there"

"UGH why must you do this to me?"

"Because I love you. Now, hurry up."

"If you let go of my arm!" I pulled myself away.

"Sorry."

When we got to the platform, she checked her phone again. She refused to tell me what was going on. When she finished reading whatever it was she turned to me.

"Hey, just wondering......Have you talked to Magic Boy recently?" The tone of her voice was a bit strange.

"The last time we talked was Friday." I said.

"What did you guys talk about?"

"He asked me how my day went and I told him about how you guys were teasing about our first conversation. After that, it got a bit weird and he left."

"Whoa, what do you mean by weird?"

"I told him that it was ridiculous to think that someone like him would like someone like me.Then he was just like 'i gotta go' and I was like 'okay' and that was it."

"Is that why you're upset?"

"I'm not upset, just confused. I mean I did DM him before you came over but he didn't respond. I assume he doesn't care and just forgot about me."

"Show me the conversation."

I handed her my phone and let her read it. She looked at me with a strange look in her eyes.

"Oh, Emy, you can be so dumb sometimes." she said in a babyish voice.

"Excuse me?" She gave me my phone, stepped behind me and started fixing my hair.

"Uh...what are you doing?"

"Trying to make you look somewhat decent." she replied while fixing my hair in a tight pony tail. "Pass me my makeup pouch."

"We're in public." I say under my breath.

"I don't care. Close your eyes"

"That's cold." I felt the eyliner brush move across my eye in a smooth, straight path.

"Don't be a baby." She continued on."Annnnnd there. You're done" She grabbed her stuff and put it away.

"Thanks" I took out my mirror for a second to see what she did. I looked adorable, not gonna lie. Abby's always had really great makeup skills. I tell her she should do it professionally, but she likes to disagree with me when ever I bring it up.

"No problem. I refuse to let you see him looking like that."

"See who?"

"Oh, no one."

"Abby..." I say, demanding that she gives me an answer.

"Okay" she sighs. "Collins is in New York"

"Don't lie to me."

"I'm not lying" she says as we step onto the train.

"He's not gonna recognize me. If that's why you're dragging me to the city."

"You'll never know until you try."

My heart starts to race as I think about the possibility of seeing Collins face to face. It has always been a dream of mine to get to meet him. Every time I try to however, it doesn't happen. Maybe this time, it'll be different. But, at the same time, what if he does recognize me? I'm not ready for this.
