The night came and went. The next day, Abby came over to watch a movie. We alternated between Saturdays and Sundays. Every other Saturday, we're at her house, and every other Sunday, we're at mine. At least, that's what usually happens

She arrived at around 1:30, bearing gifts. She had a box of pop corn and at least 5 boxes of candy.

"You ready?" she asked when I answered the door.

"We don't need all of that." I laughed.

"Yes we do. It's movie day. And what's a movie without snacks?"

I rolled my eyes and led her to my room. She took off her shoes and jumped onto my bed.

"Making yourself at home?" I joked.

"Don't act like you're not used to it." she giggled.

"Okay, so, what do you want to watch." I said, scrolling through Netflix. "Breakfast Club?" I've seen it at least twenty times, but I don't care.

"Ooooh classic! Yeah."

"Okay."

"Just try not to cry at the end."

I laughed and tossed a pillow in her direction. "Shut up"

"So, before you start the movie. What did you and Mag-, I mean Collins talk about last night?" she asked, taking a second to check her phone.

"Well, I told you that he's leaving. And why is it that whenever you ask about him you look at your phone? What did you do?"

"Nothing......When does he leave again?"

"Tomorrow morning"

"Are you gonna spend some time with him before he goes?"

"Yeah. But aft-"

There was a knock at the door.

"That's weird. I don't recall inviting anyone else?" I walked over to the door.

"Who is it?" Abby yelled.

I swung the door open.

"COLLINS" My voiced echoed through the halls of my building. I tip-toed for a hug."How'd you-" His face said it all. "Abby?"

He nodded.

"Oh, look who it is." Abby teased while walking down the hall as Collins stepped inside.

"Don't act like you didn't know."

"He wanted to surprise you. So, he asked for my help." she shrugged.

"Really?" I turned to face him.

"Maybe." he smiled.

"Okay, movie time." Abby interrupted. She grabbed both of our hands and dragged us to my room.

"Sooooo, whatcha watchin'?" he asked.

"Breakfast Club" Abby and I answered.

"Jinx! Double Jinx!!!" we laughed.

"Okay." Collins laughed along with us.

"I think we should just start the movie." I placed my laptop on my dresser and pressed play.

"I'll hit the lights" Abby said. She then ran to the door.

"No! Don't close that."

"Why?..........OOOOOOHHHHHH right."

"I'm confused" Collins stepped in.

"Whenever I have people in my room, especially guys, I'm not supposed to have my door closed. Or else, my mom will kill me." I explained.

"Got it."

Abby jumped back onto my bed. Collins and I sat against the wall while Abigail was curled up on the other end.

I found it hard to focus on the movie knowing that Collins was leaving the next day.

"Do you have to go?" I whispered, leaning my head against his chest.

"I don't want to." I could hear the sincerity in his voice.

"Then stay."

"I can't." He grabbed my hand and started to fiddle with it.

"SHHHHHHHHH This is best part" Abby reprimanded.

I apologized, then went back to the conversation. "Is there a way for you to stay just a little bit longer?"

"I wish. Look, I promise I'll come back to visit."

"Cross your heart?"

"Hope to die."

"I'm really gonna miss you."

"Not as much as I'm gonna miss you." he kissed my head. "But don't worry. We could Skype, and text, and DM as much as you want until I come back."

"But it's not the same."

"We did it before. I'm sure we can work this out."

"I guess we can give it a try"
