When I came to school that morning, I thought it was going to be a regular day. Turns out I was very wrong. Peter had walked me to school, and we'd spent our lunchtime in the library studying for an Algebra test next week. The entire time, I'd been distracted by his attractive thinking face, which he usually wore whenever we were studying for something difficult. Whenever he looked up, I'd have to quickly pretend I was studying, and like I wasn't just admiring my best friend. Feelings were annoying, especially if they were for your best friend.

After school had ended, I was walking home through Queens, when a tall and buff man grabbed me from an alleyway, dragging me back into the shadows. "OH MY GOD-" Before I could actually scream for help rather than be panicking, the man covered my mouth with one large hand. "Shut up," I hadn't gotten a look at the man yet, but I knew he was taller than me, and a lot stronger. This was proven as I struggled in his grip, trying my best to escape.

It was futile, and as I tried biting the man's arm, he brought a cloth to my face, which stunk of chemicals. Seconds after breathing in said chemicals, my senses started to go fuzzy, and my limbs weakened. "Atta girl..." Despite my mind fighting to gain control of my body again, it had already given up fighting.

I woke up in a dark room. And I didn't wake up immediately, it took me a few minutes, and I'm pretty sure there was a little bit of drool on my shirt. Once my senses had come back to me, I tried my best to look for a way out. The room had no windows, only one door, and for the icing on the cake, I was tied to my chair. With metal chains. "Fuck," I cursed softly as I tried to wiggle my wrists around, but a sharp pain stopped me. The chains were too tight. "Fuck!" I cursed louder, panic starting to take over. It was almost pitch black in the room, aside from the sliver of light coming in from under the door.

Heavy footsteps sounded on the other side of the door, making me freeze. They came close, and there was a loud squeak as the door opened. In came the tall man from earlier, but this time there was another man behind him. It was a large room, almost like a medium sized warehouse, but as soon as they walked in, the space seemed to shrink. "Good, you're awake." The taller man stayed near the door, while the shorter man made his way over to me. "How are you feeling?" Was he being serious right now? I glared at him, clenching my hands into fists to keep the blood circulating as best I could.

"I'm doing fucking great." The man clicked his tongue, shaking his head at me. "Such a foul mouth on such a pretty girl." A horrible screeching sound filled the room as he dragged a chair over, sitting down slowly while keeping his beady eyes on me. "Now." He got settled, leaning forward in his chair. "My men have seen you and your little friend around town, and we know about his little secret. You're simply a pawn in my game." What the fuck was he talking about??

The man must have seen my confused face because he suddenly snapped at me angrily. "That boy you see every day! The one who climbs up walls and calls himself Spider-Man when he's really a fucking abomination in disguise!" Did he mean Peter? Peter couldn't possibly be Spider-Man! "I don't know what you're talking about." The man growled, and in the space of two seconds, slapped me. The force of it had me reeling, my head snapping to the left. "Stop fucking lying!" More scared than strong willed now, I calmed my anger before it could burst out of me.
