“Ang saya naman. Talagang nag-rate ang teleserye natin,” Edith and Sue were talking on the set of their taping for that day.
“Oo nga eh. Nagulat din ako,” Sue said in agreement. “Syempre natakot ako dahil unang teleserye ko na hindi kasama si Jeremy.”
“Ano ka ba? Syempre naman. Talented ka noh. Di naman kailangan kasama mo sya para sabihin na magaling ka. Kanya kanya yan.”
“Salamat Edith ha. Pero syempre di ko maiwasan ang kabahan dahil nakakapanibago.”
“I understand. Anyways, ilang araw na din tayong puyat. Buti na lang off natin bukas noh?”
“Oo nga eh. Makakapagpahinga na din saw akas.”
“I know right? Excited na ko matulog hahaha.”
“Hay! Buti ka nga may kasama ka pag-uwi mo. Ako kasi mag-isa lang sa bahay.”
“Huh? Bakit? Wala ka bang kasama sa house mo?”
“Wala eh. Si Ate Lala kasi umuwi pati ung mga kapatid ko. So mag-isa lang ako madalas sa bahay.”
“Ay, sad naman. Eh si Marga? Bakit di mo pag sleep over para may kasama ka?”
“Nyek! Busy din yon. Ang gusto ko sana makabili ng malaking teddy bear. Para pag ganyan na wala ung mga kapatid ko may kasama pa din ako kahit di nagsasalita, di ba?”
“Hahaha! Para ka naman bata. Ano yon imaginary friend?”
“Hindi noh! Wala lang. Parang masarap lang na may malaking teddy bear lang. Sarap yakapin kasi malambot tapos pwede mo din kausapin pag malungkot. At least sure ka na hindi ibubunyag non ang secret mo di ba?”
“Kung sabagay. Tama ka dyan. Eh nakabili ka naman ba?”
“Wala pa kong mahanap eh.”
Little did they know that Alex was just a few feet away from them and overheard their conversation. They continued talking until the director told them that it was time to pack up. They all got their things and left, heading home to rest. They all had two days off, except for the veteran actors because they had taping for those two days.
The following day, Alex went to the gym then decided to go shopping with his mom. He hasn’t spent that much time with his mom since he began shooting for their soap so what better way to spend his two days of free time than with his mom? As they were walking around, Alex saw a huge life-sized teddy bear at one of the stores.
“Ito kaya ung tinutukoy ni Sue?” he asked himself.
“Anak may sinasabi ka?” Mary, Alex’s mom turned to look at him.
“Ah wala ma. Mauna ka na don sa kabilang store may titingnan lang ako ditto,” he told his mom pointing to the store where the life-sized teddy bear was.
