Chapter 23 – Third Times The Charm
They are down to their last two days of taping. This is one of the biggest scene for Alex and Sue. Their characters have been through a lot of turmoil in their lives and even in their relationship and this is the scene where all of that comes to an end. Both Alex and Sue were excited to shoot the scene for their own personal reasons. They were in their tents waiting for them to be called to location to start filming.
Last two days, Alex thought, sana pagkatapos nito hindi nya ako i-reject. Hay Sue! Ano bang pinakain mo sa kin at nahulog na ko say o ng tuluyan? He was watching Sue get her hair and make up done for their scene. It is Jade’s, Sue’s character, birthday.
Alex! Sue screamed in her mind, wag mo kong titigan ng ganyan baka matunaw ako. She was secretly watching him watch her in the mirror. He’s been staring at her for almost an hour now.
“Uy Alex!” Sue called out to him not able to stand his unwavering stare.
“H-ha?” Alex asked, shaking himself from his mesmerized state. “May sinasabi ka?”
“Sabi ko tulaley ka dyan,” Sue answered laughing, “baka mahipan ka ng hangin at di na maalis yan expression sa mukha mo.”
“Ah…eh…wala,” Alex flustered, “nag-iisip lang. Kasi sandali lang tong taping natin today tapos bukas last day na.”
“Oo nga, pero may ginagawa kayong movie ni Quen at Ernest di ba?” Sue asked.
“Oo nga,” Alex agreed, “pero syempre iba yon kasi ito yung pinaka big break ko. Nakakalungkot na matatapos na.”
“Ang drama mo ha!” Sue teased, “itira mo na lang yan para sa eksena mamaya noh.”
“Ikaw talaga,” Alex answered bashfully, “nambabasag ka ng trip. Eh sa emo ako ngayon eh.”
“Nakakahawa kasi yang emo mo noh!” Sue said, “kaya tigilan mo na.”
“Bakit? Hindi k aba nalulungkot na matatapos na bukas ung taping?” Alex fished from Sue.
“Malungkot syempre,” Sue answered thoughtfully, “Naging close naman din tayo sa lahat dito tsaka syempre di ko alam kung may kasunod na teleserye.”
“Yun lang? Ako hindi mo mamimiss?” Alex joked, although he half meant it.
“Feeling!” Sue quipped, blushing. “Masaya din ako na matatapos na kasi makakapagvacation na kami ng mga kapatid ko. Tsaka gusto ko mag try mag bungee jumping noh!”
“Uy, parang masaya yon ah,” Alex commented, “Sama naman ako!”
“Kung pwede ka eh di sige,” Sue agreed.
Yes! Date kaya yon? Alex thought.
