Leah's Pov-

I was walking around the mall with my best friend Michael Conor. We were looking for clothes because we both know how much we love clothes.

"Okay, what about this?" I asked him as I pulled a shirt that was pink from the top and went down into purple.

"I like it. But, why are you asking me? I'm a guy," He said as we both started to laugh. Man do I love his laugh.

I then shook my head and went into the fitting room to go try it on. I've been friends with Michael ever since we were in diapers and now I'm starting to fall for him. I just really hope he feels the same way. Once I got the shirt on I came out and saw him staring at his phone.

"Michael, what do you think?" I asked him as he looked at me for one second and then back at his phone.

"Yeah," He said as I went back into the dressing room to put my regular shirt back on.

I then walked back out and put the shirt back on the rack. What could be so important on his phone that makes him ignore me. I walked out of the store with Michael bY my side still on his phone.

"Hey, are you ready to go?" I asked him as he looks up from his phone.

"Yeah, sure," He said as we walked outside and into the car.

Once we got into the the car Michael started to drive me home. I really do like him but now I'm getting a feeling that he doesn't like me back.

"So, what were you doing on your phone earlier?" I asked him as he looked at me.

"Oh, yeah sorry about that I was texting my friend," He said as he looked at me and I smiled and he smiled back.

"Hey Micahel, can I ask you something," I asked him as he looked at me and smiled.

"Yeah sure, whats up?" He asked me as I smiled back.

"Well, there's this guy I like and I don't know how to tell him. We've been friends for awhile and I just don't want to ruin our friendship. What should I do?" I asked him referring to him.

"Well, you should just tell this guy how you feel. That's the best way to do it," He said not think it was him I was talking about.

"Okay, thanks" I said as he still didn't get the hint that it was him I was talking about.

The whole car ride home I was debating on if I should tell him how I feel or not tell him. I finally made up my mind and was gonna tell him how I felt. I'm a very confident girl but when it comes to this stuff I'm not.

He then pulled into my driveway and we just sat there until I got out. Michael would always walk me to my door and make sure I get in safe.

I grabbed my key and put it in the door. It's now or never, I said in my head as I turned around.

"Michael, can I tell you something?" I asked him as he looked at me with a smile on his face. Man do I hope he still has that smile on his face after I tell him my feelings.

"Yeah sure, you can tell me anything,"He said as I smiled back at him.

"Michael, I like you. I love your smile, your laugh. I love everything about you. I like you Michael. I love you," I said as he looked at me with no emotion on his face. His smile went away right after I said that last sentence.

"Um, I have to go," He said as he walked down the stairs without looking back and he got in the car and drove off.

I just stood there in shock. I then felt the tears starting to come. I opened the door and ran up to my room with tears streaming down my face. Thank gosh no one was home to see me like this. I got on my bed and started to cry into my pillow.

Michael's Pov-

Leah just said she loved me, and I just completely left her shocked. I got in my car and drove back to my house. I parked my car and just sat in my car not doing anything. Do I like Leah? I mean the way she laughs when she's nervous is so adorable and when she blushes when she's embarrass. Man, I think I'm falling for this girl.

I have to go back to her and talk to her. I started my car and rove back to her place. I had a key to the house because I knew her family for years. I opened the door and walked up the stairs to her room. I pushed my ear against the door and I hear her crying and sniffling. This broke my heart.

I opened the door and walked in. "Leah."

Leah's Pov-

"Leah," I heard Michael said as he came into my room.

"What do you want?" I mumbled because my words were muffled from my face being in the pillow because I was still crying.

"Please look at me," He said as he rubbed my back before I lifted my head to look at him.

"Yeah?" I asked him.

"Listen, I'm sorry. I was just caught up in the moment. I was scared. When I got home I realized how much I loved you. I love your cute little smile and when you blush when your embarrass. I love you Leah," He said as he looked at me and smiled.

"You do?" I asked him as he shook his head.

He then started to lean in and so did I. our lips hen touched and he started to kiss me and I kissed back. The fireworks in my stomach started to go off.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked me a she looked at me and smiled.

"Yes, I would love to be your girlfriend," I said as I smiled and we then laid down on my bed and we started to cuddle and watch tv.

I fell for my best friend and he fell for me. What could be any more magical then this.
