Kate's Pov-

"Are you listening to me?" My older brother Michael Conor was saying as I was starring at Marcus.

"What did you say?" I asked snapping out of my gaze.

"No dating my friends," He said as I looked at him with sad eyes.

"Why?" I asked clearly upset because I wanted to date Marcus.

"It would be weird," Michael said as he put his hand on my shoulder and walked away. I just walked over to the couch and sat down.

"Hey are you okay?" Marcus asked me as he sat down next to me.

"No," I stated.

"Why, what happened?" He asked me as he looked at me.

"My brother said I couldn't date any of his friends," I said as Marcus slammed his back against the couch.

"Aw man," He said as my eyes grew big as I looked at him. "Take a picture it would last longer."

"What's wrong?" I asked him as I turned to my side to ask.

"Nothing," He said upset.

"Please tell me," I said as I looked at him with puppy dog eyes.

"I kinda wanted to ask you out," He shyly said.

"Then ask me," I saids as he looked at me shocked.

"But your brother said you couldn't date his friends," Marcus said.

"Who said he has to know."
