I was walking around downtown with my best friend, Brady. I've known Brady ever since I was younger but, I started to develop feelings for him. I just don't think he feels the same.
"Hey Hailey, how about we go to the bakery and get something warm to eat," He said as I smiled and nodded my head. He grabbed my hand and pulled me into the bakery.
We walked in and we sat down at a table. We waited for about five minutes so the line could shorten up.
"Okay, I'm going up now. What would you like?" He asked me as he smiled and I blushed at how cute he was being.
"Um, can you please get me a hot coffee, two cookies, and some donuts," I said as he laughed, I laughed to as I realized how much I wanted.
Brady nodded and got in line. I took out my phone and started to scroll through social media. I was looking at Instagram pictures when I started to think about Brady.
I've know Brady for a while but, I was just worried he doesn't like me the way I like him. I really wanna ask him if he likes anyone at the moment, but I'm just scared he'll say no. But, I'll also be scared if he says yes because he might like someone besides me.
I was in the middle of my thought that I didn't notice Brady came walking back. He sat down and I looked up at him.
"Here's your coffee, your cookies are in the bag, and the donuts are in the box," He said as he handed me everything.
I took a sip of my coffee and took out on of my cookies. I ate one of the cookies and I decided I wanted a donut. I grabbed the box and set it down in front of me. I opened the box and when I opened it, it reviled "Will you be my girlfriend" spelt out on the donuts.

I looked up and saw Brady smiling at me waiting for my answer. I didn't have any words but I finally managed to open my mouth and use my words.
