Katie's Pov-

    Everything hurts! My head. My arms. Just my whole body hurts. I slowly started to open my eyes to see I was lying in a hospital bed with many wires connected to my that were hooked up to machines.

    "Sweetie, you're awake," My mother said as she walked over to the bed and placed a hand on mine.

    "What happened?" I asked her. I had no memory of what happened.

    "You were on your way to the concert when a car came speeding, flipping your car, making you flip about 3 times," My mom said as a tear rolled down her cheek. When she mentioned the concert I sat up.

    "Wait, please tell me I didn't miss the concert," I announced.

    "I'm sorry sweetie but, you did. They had to perform surgery on you right away," My mom said as she kissed my forehead. "I have to go sign some papers. You stay here and rest."

    "It's not like I can just get up and leave," I said as my mom chuckled. She walked out of the room and I laid down, closing my eyes.

"Miss. Katie, you have a few visitors," A nurse said as I sat up. As soon as I sat up, I opened my eyes and saw Sergio standing there with my best friend Ashley.

"Why are you here?" I asked then as Sergio smiled and walked over to me.

"I heard about your accident. As soon as I found out, I contacted your friend and asked her if I could come visit you after the concert immediately," Sergio smiled.

I looked over to my friend and mouthed a "thank you".

"Since you didn't get to see us sing, I was wondering if I could sing you a song?" He asked me as he sat down with his guitar.

"Please, go ahead," I smiled.

I spent the whole day listening to Sergio sing. This day wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
