"I am never letting you out of my sight again, mon amour," Lafayette said as he peppered kisses onto any bare skin Hercules was showing, whether that be his face or his arms or his neck, Laf couldn't restrain himself. "Never."
"Baby, I'm fine," Hercules chuckled, running his fingers through Lafayette's hair. The two were still on he couch in the Schuyler's living room. Eliza and Maria next to them, Eliza called her as soon as John, Alex, and Thomas left. Peggy paced the room, her hands on her hips. "Peg, you really need to calm down."
"I can't!" Peggy shouted, waving her arms in the air. "I'm worried about John and Thomas, and Alex of course, but not as much as the other two."
"Worrying isn't going to make anything better, mon ami," Lafayette sighed as Peggy flipped him off. Peggy nearly jumped out of her skin, hearing the doorbell ring. "Are you expecting someone?" Lafayette asked, raising an eyebrow towards Eliza, who shook her head.
Peggy, being the only one standing, rushed to get it.
"You," Peggy growled, glaring at the large man standing outside of the door. "You've got a lot of nerve, don't you?"
"Look, I know I'm an unwanted guest, but I've got something to tell you all," Reynolds said, smirking. "May I come in?" Peggy narrowed her eyes at him, and sincerely debated on punching him. But alas, Peggy, being the highly curious person she is, stepped back, allowing him entry.
Lafayette was the first to be on his feet with a curled fist raised. "Why the fuck are you here?! You goddamn bastard I oughta-"
"Laf," Hercules grabbed his arm, pulling him away from Reynolds. "He's not worth it."
"Why're you here?!" Eliza shouted, her face angry as she held Maria, who was frozen in fear at the sight of her ex-boyfriend.
"I didn't write the stupid pamphlet," Reynolds smirked, crossing his arms as he looked over the group. "But I know who did." Lafayette glared at him as he stood in front of Hercules protectively, like the others, he didn't believe a single word that came out of Reynolds' mouth.
"And why should we believe you?" Peggy questioned, raising an eyebrow. Reynolds wore the same cocky-douchebag smirk he always had, before he said:
"Because you don't have any other ideas."
