Darkness: It surrounds me in it's embrace as I am moved from one location to another.  My body refuses to cooperate and my senses are dulled by the hood and ear muffs that separate me from my surroundings.

The last thing I remember is walking towards the rendezvous point where Wolverine was supposed to meet me.  I don't remember anything after that.

Someone throws me to the ground causing me to let out a small cry.  I couldn't even hear the sound but I know I made it.  My hands are grabbed and pulled so I was dangling from a hook.  My feet barely touched the ground and my wrists screamed with pain.

Whoever these people were, they knew what they were doing.

A needle is jabbed into my side and a wave of fire floods my body.  I would prefer the darkness to the painful heat that was flooding my senses.

Once, I was sufficiently disabled, the hood is ripped off my head.

Light makes me close my eyes quickly.  I slowly open them, wanting to give my aching eyes the necessary time to adjust.  However before I could fully assimilate to my surroundings, the ear muffs were also ripped off.  Causing a rush of sounds to bombard my body.

"She's a pretty thing."  The man was in his late twenties with a long thin scar running across his face.  One of his eyes was once a vibrant blue but was now tinged white from blindness.  "Too bad, she won't live to find herself a husband."

"We haven't gotten the orders yet, Earl."  The second man replies.  His hair was the color of fire and his eyes reminded me of a blue flame.  "But we haven't been told not to have fun with her."  He comes over and looks as if he's going to have his way with me.

"Don't damage the merchandise."  A man appears through a door.  "How far you've fallen, Vera."  The man seemed to know who I was but I couldn't recognize him.

"Should we prep her?"  Earl asks as he eyes me like candy.  "We are going to use her for parts, right boss?"

"Yes.  It's a shame we're resulting to taking you apart.  You were our most prized possession.  A child born of two super soldiers. The woman who gave birth to you was alien in origin, giving rise to your other gifts.  Such a shame, you won't live to see your own kids."  The man comes over and lifts my chin so I'm looking him in the eyes.  "I hope your parents learn of the pain you are about to endure."

I wanted to struggle against the ties that bound me in this current position but I couldn't move.  All control of my limbs has been taken from me and I am forced to stay put.

"Can we at least have a little fun with her?" Fire eyes asks before the boss can leave.  "We promise not to do too much damage."

"As long as she is not permanently damaged."  The boss smiles my way before leaving.

I feel tears slip down my cheeks as if trying to translate my pain to the world around me.

They strapped me to the operating table some hours later.  I wish I could pass out and not feel everything that was about to be done to me or what the vile men had done to defile my body.

"This will help."  A woman with a kind face quickly injects something into my blood stream.  I start to relax against my will.  "Be brave, child."  She whispers before turning cold faced once more.

I drifted in and out of consciousness for the next couple hours.  Pain causes me to black out as they remove bone marrow and take large amounts of blood from my body.

I wanted the pain to go away but before I fully passed into the realm of unconsciousness, they were done.  Well, at least for now.

They wheeled me into a white room, where more medications were administered.  One needle pierced the area of my stomach next to my belly button.  It was painful and I had no clue what they were injecting into me.

"She'll probably lose consciousness within the next couple hours.  Do not allow anyone without written orders from myself to administer anything."  The boss tells the nurse who was supposed to guard me.

I did end up passing out.  I'm not sure how long I was out for but it was long enough to prevent me from knowing how long it's been since I disappeared.

I start to wonder if my parents are looking for me.  I doubt they will be able to find me now that I put myself in this position.  Honestly, it would probably be better if they didn't find me.  I'm not going to recover from this.

After that first procedure, they continued to drug me.  I was thankful that I didn't know exactly what was happening to me.  I think knowing would be worse than staying in a dreamlike state.

After I don't know how long, I started to feel death drifting closer to me.  I've never actually died but aged back and started over.  This time, I won't be given another chance at life.  Instead, everything will just end.

Bucky's POV:

"It's almost been four weeks."  Nat looked like she hasn't slept since we heard the news.  Logan called telling us that Serenity had disappeared.  No one knew where our little girl went.  Instead, we've only been able to find cold trails that lead us no closer to her rescue.

"It's my fault this happened." Peter looked just as sleep deprived as Nat.  "I shouldn't have said those things."

"She would have always been a flight risk."  I assure him.

"Will."  Nat replies as I see tears starting to fall down her cheeks.  It's been a very long time since I've seen her cry.  "She's not gone."

"DO we have no more leads?"  I ask turning to Stark, who was passed out at his computer.  He was searching all the cameras around the world for facial recognition and must have passed out sometime this morning.  "TONY!"  I call and he wakes up with a start.

"I wasn't sleeping."  He replies before turning his attention back to the computer.  "This isn't pulling up anything."

"Then what do we do?"  Clint asks as he hands Nat a coffee.  "We can't just give up."

"No, I wasn't planning on giving up until I return her home."  I reply even though chances were we wouldn't be bringing her back home with a heartbeat.
