I wish there was a situation to be mad at

Or a person I could blame

I've got a loud mouth, I'm pale with a ghost obsession, but behind the scenes with her

I'm playing 21 Questions

"Hey Lauren," Camila said quietly as she caught up with her walking down the hall. Lauren turned to her with a smile as Camila looked down, almost shyly. But then again who wouldn't look down before the goddess who was Lauren Jauregui?

"What's up?" Lauren asked as Camila shrugged a bit. "Come on tell me, you have something going through your head," Lauren continued and Camila could only laugh at the assumption. But then again Lauren was always right.

"Fine, fine, do you want to go out Friday night?" Camila asked. The question that had been running through her head since they first started to talk to each other. It was a scary moment for Camila. It was almost as if she knew it wasn't the right time to ask, she knew Lauren was about to drop the biggest bomb on her and Camila was not prepared at all. The feeling she had was only pushed aside but who knew with Lauren. She has been basically playing a game with her from the start.

Lauren stopped walking and Camila looked back at her and sighed. She was giving her that look. The look that said, 'You're cool and all but you're just not my type.' The look that Camila did not want to see, for the fact that she could call bullshit from a mile away. But what she heard was totally different from the look.

"I am so sorry Camila but I have a boyfriend," Lauren said quietly almost embarrassed. Camila could only frown, the talk of a boyfriend or someone in her life was never brought up. Camila nodded as Lauren tried to apologize but Camila could only walk away. She shouldn't apologize for being with someone, if anything Camila should apologize for trying something.

But then again Camila knew she would go back to Lauren, and Lauren would go back to her. They were playing a game and Camila knew that from the start.

There's gotta be a reason

You keep your guy in hiding

I'm becoming what I've hated

But your talk is so inviting

"Camila," Lauren called out as she exited the class behind Camila. "Wait up," she called out again and Camila could only sigh. She hated the fact that Lauren's voice seemed to make her want to stop and take her in her arms but Camila didn't want that. She just wanted to forget about her.

"How are you?" Lauren asked once Camila had waited for her. The look on Lauren's face almost seemed inviting but Camila knew not to let her in. She had a boyfriend for Gods sake, why would she still talk to Camila after dropping that bomb on her?

"Good, Lauren. How are you?" She didn't want to continue the conversation but a little catch up never hurt nobody, right?

"I'm good. But hey, I was wondering if you wanted to hang out later today," Lauren said and Camila couldn't help but notice the tone she gave her. It was laced with hope; Camila said yes and somehow Camila fell back inside the hole Lauren had dug for her. Hanging out never hurt nobody, right?

But then what?

You drop your guy and take me on

It's everything I wanted

But then what?

Would you get tired of my time?

"I broke up with my boyfriend," Lauren said and Camila could only choke on her soda as Lauren came to the rescue and started to pat her back. "Are you okay?" She asked and Camila just waved her off as she tried to catch her breathe.
