Chapter 18

You slowly open your eyes. damn you don't feel well. ''What time is it?'', you turn over and reach towards your phone. ''6am??'' I fell asleep at 2!

You were up late talking to Razz, you forgot how much fun it was getting to know someone you actually liked. Meeting new friends was a lot of fun already, but someone you had a huge crush on.. nothing could compare to that. 

You lay there happy as ever, just realizing you didn't know what time work started. The best idea seems to get there at opening time. You turn around one more time to catch some more sleep. An hour and a halve later you wake up to your alarm clock ready to start the day. You get in the shower put some make up on, and put on a simple shirt with tight black jeans and all-stars. After making a bagel you walked with it in your hand to work. 

You open the shop door, ''Lucy, you here?'' Lucy came out the back waving ''He (Y/N), good morning.''

''I am sorry, I didn't know what time I had to start so I figured I would come at opening time''

''Wow, good for you, my bad.. I indeed need you to work the entire day''

You work on the entire day, having a laugh with a lot of costumers, how good is it that you can talk about games and anime for work! 

When you and Lucy started to close up shop you both sit down with a cup of coffee.

''So how are you enjoying London?''

'It's good, I do love living here, but I am starting to miss my friends a lot.. I guess you can say I am a bit lonely''

''well, that isn't surprising, you came here only knowing who.. me? but I am going to a cocktail bar with some friends tonight, I don't mind you joining. Usually I don't want co-workers to mix up with my personal life, but for you I make an exception, I get it could be kinda awkward going to a club alone''

''I'm not the most social person, but I would love to join''

''Cool, should I pick you up at 9:30? I know where you live'' Lucy had a big smile on her face, cracking up at her own creepy remark. 

You finish your coffee and walk home, immediately Razz calls you. 

''Hello gorgeous''

''Hello creep!''

''I am not a creep, I am simply stating the truth, which isn't why I called..''

''Ok, tell me''

''your surprise is almost ready..''

''OK, so you're just calling me to make me more nervous about a surprise which you decide to do yesterday?'' 

''I.. g-guess?''

''Thank you mr. Bowksi'' 

''wanna skype at home?''

''I would but I am going out tonight''

''What? with who?''

''Lucy, my co-worker, I was getting kinda lonely here so she decided to invite me, so I'm gonna hang up now and I'll speak to you tomorrow?''

''Ye, ofcourse, have fun''

You hang up the phone and felt like razz wasn't too happy about you going out. Maybe he is just scared you will meet someone else, you couldn't think about anyone else. Razz was the first man you kissed in a long time, and you really wanted to get to know him better. But you needed some girl friends as well. 

You get home and get ready. Not soon after you hear the doorbell, you open up the door and there is Lucy, she looked way prettier than she normally does. But then again, who gets overly pretty for work? ''He (y/N), you ready to go?''

''yea sure, lemme grab my purse real quick''

Lucy walked in and looked around ''I love what you've done with the room, it looks better than before''

''thanks, so where are we going?''

''a cocktail bar called big 8, it's super pretty and not too expensive and let me tell you, those cocktails will make you feel AMAZING''

You haven't really been drinking since your friends left, and after the amazing night you had with razz, but you decided to have fun tonight.

You travel to the bar and meet Lucy's friends. They were all really nice, they didn't really feel like your type of people, there just wasn't a connection. BEEP

razz: I hope you're having a great evening now, is it really sad to say I am missing our nights?

Everyone was busy talking to each other, so you decided to text back

(Y): Is it wrong of me to say I would rather be home right now?

R: not having fun?

(y): not really, they are nice, they are! just not my type of friends

R: You will find some friends over there, no worries.

You put away your phone and talk some more, it was a fun night, but you finished your cocktail and decided to get home. You hugged Lucy goodbye and she gave you a cheeky wink and told you to take the day off tomorrow. She sounded weirdly happy, as if she was hinting at something. 

You took an uber home and got out, walking upstairs you noticed your door was open. You immediately stood still and froze. ''wtf, I closed it right? why is it open?''

''calm down, calm down, don't panic'' 

''this isn't helping''

You slowly walk forward and open the door a bit more when you hear a loud noise 

''SURPRISE''
