Chapter 22

You get into the uber, you never were a big fan of cabs and cars in general. but being able to look at the beautifully lit streets of London was a gift. Some times you need to stop worrying and enjoy the amazing opportunity you created for yourself. You have more to be proud of than you thought. 

You arrive at the venue at 11:15. 

A: well, still a bit early. 

(Y/N): my bad, I don't know the city that well. 

A: no worries, that will happen with time. Don't rush yourself

H: This is actually really good, look!

Amy is pointing towards the corner of the building. 

A: THE QUEENS HAVE ARRIVED

(Y/N): All the other people are here too, all dressed up thank god. 

A: could you imagine coming here and no one dressing for the part?

H: i wouldn't care, I look amazing. Could find a husband here tonight if I tried. 

(Y/N): but you won't try 'cause Kyle isn't here.

Amy laughs with you and Hannah brushes her hand through her hair.

(Y/N): you are right though, even if no one was dressed up we look hot AF.

You wait outside for the doors to be opened. The doors open and people start walking in. you show the doorman your ticket and ID, you get a fake gold wristband to show you're old enough to drink. After Hannah and Amy come in you all look at the bracelet. 

(Y/N): no wonder it's expensive if they even think of pretty wristbands

H: these don't look like wristbands, those things are bright orange or blue. This is so good!

You walk towards the wardrobe where a beautiful queen is taking coats. 

Girls, welcome welcome, to the best event. 

A: Thank you, you look amazing!

so do you ladies. here are the tickets for your coats, you can walk in and get your photo taken, show them your wardrobe ticket number and you will get a free copy of the photo when you pick your coats up.

H: now THAT'S what I call service.

You walk through some big double doors, entering the event. The three of you stand still. There was so much to look at. Everything was decorated in 20's style, but with a twist of modern times. 3 gigantic bars with cocktail makers, throwing bottles in the air like artists. People dancing on the dance floor, a music mix from the 20's but with a nicer beat for these times play loudly. In the back, gigantic couches, fire breathers. The mood was even better with the big old cameras moving over the place taking pictures of people with the big flash, and way too much magical stuff to explain. 

A: lets take the picture first, you never know how hard those cocktails are going to hit. 

H: I predict hard

you laugh at your friends, lets go.

You wait in line for your picture to be taken, does not take too long. All the people who came in went to get drinks first or were still looking at the amazing look.
