Back in Those Days
Draco had gone along with Solomon and climbed in bed, giving Jack a worried look before he did. He didnt want to change the past, but he wanted to get back. And they were supposedly supposed to be in hiding right now. Did just going back in time change it? Did one small detail change everything? Did the school even know Solomon was a Wampus in this new and odd timeline?
In the morning Draco was the first one awake as usual, he practically dragged Jack out of bed. Draco knew he was an early morning person that woke up before the sun did, but it should never be that hard to get someone out of bed.
Once Jack was fully awake enough to walk by himself, they were already out of the dugeons and on their way to the outdoors. Draco needed to get out into the forest, and he couldnt just leave Jack there in the common room, not the all the knowledge of the future he had. If he told Hermione anything, it could have major changes on the timeline, and he couldnt risk anything.
Draco also needed to see Remus and Nymphadora, because they needed to know they were temporary ghosts, no matter what the timeline was. They had to be able to say a full goodbye to their son, without saying goodbye and scaring him.
Draco stopped and took in a deep breath of the morning air as the sun just peaked over the distant horizon. While he didnt like the color pink much, he did adore the sunrise. The air in his hair, filling his lungs. The way the sun lit the sky and touched his skin gently.
Being a Animagus made him feel so much closer to the outdoors. It made everything seem more alive, and looking at the world at the angle of a lynx, smelling things, hearing things, feeling things.
He looked over to Jack appologetically that he had paused to enjoy the morning for so long, but it looked like he was doing the same thing. Draco was confused for a moment, before Jack closed his eyes, soaking up the sun. Draco realized it.
Jack was full of surprises wasnt he? Not only was he Maya's Cousin, he was also an Animagus. Draco looked to the sky again to think for a moment about his new discovery then he was startled when there was a squawk.
Draco cursed to himself. He forgot Pansy flew every thursday morning for a few hours, to watch the sun rise from a new angle. He looked to Jack, who was watching the falcon fly up above, then Jack looked at Draco and grinned.
"Excuse me." Jack said, still grinning/smirking. He left Draco confused on the ground as he turned into a falcon and flew upwards. Hopefully Pansy didnt rip him to shreds. They had met breifly in the future where they had come from, but Draco had never heard of Pansy meeting Jack after Ronald died. She'd probably be pleased to meet someone that matches her personality so well as to take the same Animagus form as her.
Draco shrugged and waited on the ground for Jack. But after enough waiting, he turned into a Lynx and bolted towards the forest to go for a run and clear his thoughts.
If Pansy ripped him to shreds, well, he'd feel a little bad as him and Jack were distantly related, but at least he wouldnt have to worry about him blabbing the future to anyone anymore.
Draco felt bad for just thinking that thought actually.

Pansy kept her hands-wings steady as she flew above the Hogwarts grounds. She had to remind herself that her hands were currently wings over and over again. She noticed a bleached blonde hair below that she knew all too well, and right next to him stood a guy with black hair.
Pansy decided against landing and talking to them after a split second of thinking. If Draco was talking to a stranger, she probably didn't want to interrupt.
