Back In Those Days
Draco approached the cabin in human form after their game of hide and seek was over. Teddy was the first to spot him, he ran over and hugged his leg. While Draco didn't spend time with him as often, he used to go over to Andromeda's and see him all the time right after his family was caught and his father sent to Azkaban.
He loved the little blue haired boy, but often he got a little clingy.
"Hey Teddy. Can I go see your parents?" Draco asked, Teddy nodded but held his hands out for Draco to pick him up. And he obliged, carrying Teddy to the house. Draco knocked on the door softly, Nymph was the one that answered, her bright pink hair basically glowing.
She smiled at him, she hadn't done that often, it was his fault she was dead. He handed Teddy back over to her and smiled weakly. This was a really bad idea, but he still felt the need to do it.
"May I speak to Remus?" Draco asked. Nymph nodded and opened the door the rest of the way to let him in. He nodded at her gratefully and stepped inside.
"He's in his man cave, second door to your right." Nymph said, pointing down a hall. Draco nodded and thanked her quietly, the place was very cozy and had a warm feel to it.
Of course Draco wouldn't be able to live here, there wasn't enough room for everyone here. Unless it was just him, Hermione and Justin.
He loved his friends, but it would really be nice to live alone with his family. Or at least soon to be family. If he got back. Yeah, he wanted to go back in time, but he really regretted it now. He didn't even tell Hermione, give her a choice. He wanted to get back to her, the real her, not some back in time version of her. He was selfish, and he knew that now.
Learn from your mistakes right?
Anyway. Draco walked into the room Nymph said Remus was in. He put down his daily prophet and looked at Draco.
"Tonks let you in or did you break in?" Remus asked, Draco couldn't tell if he was joking or not.
"She let me in sir." Draco responded. Remus nodded.
"And is there a reason you're here? Maya and Solomon ok?" Remus asked urgently. Draco nodded. He felt a little bad though, Solomon was dead in the future because he told Hermione the future, which killed him. Unless he found a way around it.
"They're fine sir, Im just here to tell you, me and Hermione made a discovery. Ronald died, he traded his life for Fred's." Draco began, but he paused, allowing Remus to say something.
"I heard Ron died, shame, hope Harry and Hermione are alright. But why? Isn't Fred alive? Like me and Tonks are?" Remus asked. Draco sighed and put his elbows on his knees.
"Fred is-was, a temporary ghost, he would have faded away at the end of the year, that's why Ronald did what he did. And no, Potter and Hermione aren't taking it very well, it hit them both really hard." Draco explained. Remus frowned and looked out into the hall through the door. He used his wand to shut the door so Nymph wouldn't hear any more.
"What does this mean for me and Tonks?" Remus asked.
"You'll fade the day that train arrives at Kings Cross station to drop the kids off at the end of the school year. You need to spend as much time with your boy as you can." Draco said simply. He really hated the thought of them of getting enough time with their boy.
"I'll let Tonks know. Thank you." Remus said, Draco was about to stand up and respond when Remus spoke again. "Hermione changed you. Or maybe something else did, but whatever did, you're actually a good kid."
Draco paused for a moment, but nodded in respect and stood to leave. Tonks was throwing Teddy in the air in the kitchen. Draco smiled at how happy they were.
"Your husband needs to talk to you. I can say bye to Teddy, he might not want to be in there." Draco said softly. Nymph nodded and gave Teddy to Draco willingly, she walked down the hall.
Draco held Teddy with a grin.
"Dwaco?" Teddy asked. Draco never liked nicknames from anyone his age, but he loved nicknames from children, Teddy couldn't say his name, so he called him Dwaco.
"Yes?" Draco responded, again in that stupid silly voice that he hated so much but always used around children.
"Wanna see my room?" Teddy asked gleefully, pointing at the last room down the hall Draco had just come from. Draco nodded and put Teddy on the floor. The toddler ran as fast as his tiny legs would take him -almost tripping in the middle of the hallway- and opened his bedroom door, it had a scanner of sorts on it, only people with the same DNA as Teddy, Remus or Nymph could get in the room. Smart.

"I swear on the blood name of Merlin if you scare me again Jack!" Pansy threatened the air basically. She had hoped he'd laugh or something and come out from wherever he was hiding. "Jack?" Pansy asked a few moments later. She was terrified. She didn't like Jack one bit, but she was more afraid of what had taken him.
"Jack please come out of wherever your hiding. I don't even care if you scare me anymore. Do whatever you want. I wont even be mean anymore. I'll let you clean the blood from my head if you really want to. Just please come back!" Pansy yelled into the darkness of the forest. It was now getting brighter, but even with her falcon vison she couldn't find Jack.
She couldn't just leave, she wouldn't at least. While she didn't like Jack, she wasn't going to leave him to die in the woods, he probably could take care of himself, but what if he couldn't!? What if he was a weak little human being!?
She should have gotten to know him better when she had the chance.
A black plume of smoke went overhead, Pansy gasped and ran back towards the ditch. She believed it to be the safest place right now. She jumped off the edge her arms out as though she was skydiving she tried to transform.
Oh Merlin. It wasn't working. She couldn't transform.
Something caught her, and wrapped itself around her, so it would take most of the impact. A few seconds later, everything went black along with a loud, and painful sounding snap.
~
Pansy blinked herself awake, her vision was blurry and her head was pounding rapidly, when she put her hand to her head, she could feel wetness, she was bleeding. She groaned as she sat up, she was on something.
Oh, it was someone. Her vision finally returned and she quickly scrambled off Jack. She didn't like him, but tears stung her eyes. He saved her.
"Jack?" She whispered, her voice barely heard in her own ears. She checked his pulse, it was there at least. Her vision cleared up the rest of the way and she checked his wounds. She got out her wand. It was now snapped into six different parts. She cursed under her breath and did the best hand magic she could to at least stop the bleeding in his head. "Jack wake up. You have to wake up ok?"
He moved. Thank Merlin, he moved.
"So now you're willing to talk to me in a humanly tone?" Jack asked weakly, and jokingly. Pansy lit up and hugged him, glad he was ok. Ok, she didn't like him, at all. Not even in a friendly way, but she didn't want to have to explain to anyone why he suddenly went missing.
She wished she only hugged him, if she had only hugged him, no more words would have been said, but she pecked his lips on the way into the hug.
"Oww." He groaned in pain. She apologized and let go, letting him slam back down onto the ground. "Oww!" He yelled again.
"Sorry!" Pansy apologized again with a wince.
"So, are you just happy to see me or is that just your way of saying thank you?" Jack asked, Pansy felt her gut drop, she knew he'd ask that.
