Back in those days

Turned out, Draco couldn't and wouldn't kill anything. So he let Makayla do it. She carried it back to the cave where Pansy and Blaise sat by the fire. Pansy seemed to be doing ok. So Draco took a look around to see if he could find Jack.

After a few minutes of walking around and not seeing him. He tried to remember the other timeline for help. Right around now, the train was attacked. And if Draco didn't know any better, he'd say that the death eaters had a meeting to confirm the plans.

Last time, only two students died, but this time could be different. Draco turned back towards the camp and informed the other three on everything. Not about it being an alternate universe, but that the train might be attacked.

"Can we get there in time?" Blaise asked, Draco nodded and looked at Pansy.

"I can rush back to the castle, and get a potion, one that can and will heal you instantly. Im sure the professor wouldn't mind, since it's an emergency. We then I can bring it back. You'll be healed, and we can apparate to kings cross. If nothing happens, good, if something does, we need to be ready. So we also have to get new wands and wand cores. . . . . " Draco continued to explain the plan, the other three nodded every once and a while, asking questions too.

Draco turned into a lynx and got a small drink of water, the castle was a long distance away. And the train would leave when the sun rose, which was in around two hours. He had to go faster than he'd ever gone before.

An ocelot appeared by his side. He shook his head.

"You stay here, you'll need your strength to apparate." Draco ordered. She shook her head.

"I'll go half way, and you go the whole way, you bring the potion back to me, and I will have had time to rest, I can get the potion back faster. And then we'll meet you at kings cross." Makayla said, Draco knew he couldn't say no to her. he wouldn't listen.

Draco began to believe that Hermione hosted a class with all the girls at Hogwarts, teaching them how to be like her. Stubborn, smarter than everyone else, and annoyingly more cunning.

Draco nodded and ran, she was behind him, even though he could tell she wasn't going her full speed. He picked up the pace. Making sure that he felt a breeze in his fur from running fast enough.

~~~
Jack had told Hermione, Maya, and everyone he could to stay careful an be on full alert, he didn't answer any of them when they asked why, or when they asked who he was. As long as they knew. That was all that mattered. He packed his things, and got on the bac of the train, locking the Compartment door.
Hermione was safe. Maya was safe. Draco, Blaise, Makayla, and Pansy were safe. Pansy was safe. he kept telling himself that. Pansy was safe. The teachers were waiting to get on the train, McGonagall had announced a teacher meeting, so alt he teachers were of the train. That made the death eaters oh so pleased.
Jack despised the plan, but they were going to kill him if he didn't go along with it. Jack's birth parents were dead, he's adoptive parents were dead, and anyone he had ever gotten close to, did in the battle of Hogwarts.
That's why he refused to believe that he cared about Pansy. Everyone he cared about died. He didn't care about her.
He looked out the window, the sun was coming up, and the battle was about to start.
~~~

Theo ran around in a rush as Maya, Lucius and Justin fell, all of them asleep. Everyone was asleep now. Theo didn't even have time to get everyone comfortable before he blacked out as well.

The apartment became silent. Not even the sound of breathing, as though all of them lived, but none of them were alive. Anyone to walk in would believe them all to be dead, but then again, there was nobody to search for them. They were all asleep. In their homes, their parents worried whether or not they'd wakeup, until they themselves fell into a deep sleep.

All of the wizarding world was caught in a storm, as though someone had pressed the pause button.
