Back In Those Days
Draco looked around the apartment, it was going to be the last time he'd see it for a while. Him and Hermione agreed it was time to go to the Manor. The apartment was going to be a vacation house from now on.
Hermione teleported all the bags to the manor. She picked up Teddy as Draco grabbed Justin. They all apparated to the Manor.
"If a door is locked, it's for a good reason, any room that isn't locked is explore able. Don't let the big rooms scare you." Draco said, he waited for the others to walk off in a basic level of awe before turning to Hermione. "Teddy and Justin are sharing a room right?" He asked. Hermione nodded.
"Of course, and that room will be right next to ours. You have any rooms in mind? I mean, you know this place better than any of us." Hermione said, Draco nodded. There was a room, that was perfect, it had another bedroom to the right of it, and on the left, that's where the Malfoy Library was. Allot of the books in there weren't available anywhere. They had been passed down from heir to heir for generations.
"This way." Draco said softly, taking her hand and walking down a hall. None of the doors were labeled, all of then were a dark brown. His father had changed the manor a bit, now not absolutely everything was black. All the creepy pictures of family were taken down and replaced with expensive looking pictures of landscape, and some pictures of family remained, but only the ones that wouldn't scare anyone.
The floors remained black like usual, but the doors were a dark brown, and the walls were an emerald green. Didn't look that bad, but once again, it reminded Draco of his dreams, with the children in them. He still hadn't told Hermione about that, and he didn't plan to.
"Right here, this one would be our room, then that one can be Teddy and Justin's, somewhere in this house we have a bunch of nursery toys. My father probably put it all in the attic, we can go look if you want." Draco offered.
"Right after we take a look at these rooms." Hermione said, she put Teddy down, still holding his hand so he didn't run off. Hermione opened the double doors leading to the bedroom. The way her eyes grew to the size of saucers told Draco that she'd never seen a bedroom that big. It was nowhere near as cramped as the apartment.
Teddy ran into the room the very second Hermione lost her grip on his hand. The room was huge, black floors, like in the hall, but white walls. There were two bay windows on the back wall of the room, looking over the back yard, or at least what you could see of the backyard.
"Happy birthday Hermione." Draco said as she looked around. It was the nineteenth of September, it was her birthday. Draco used what little hand magic he had to make an opening, connecting their room and the kids room. Instantly Justin reached out towards the room. His father must have seen the nursery in the apartment, because little Quidditch players zoomed across the room.
"Thank you." Hermione said softly, watching Teddy spin in circle as he watched Harry fly around the pitch. She hugged him. Draco put Justin on the floor and kissed Hermione's forehead. "You think Justin's ready for a toddler bed? I mean, he's almost able to walk. And he's almost too big for the cradle. " Hermione noted. Justin was going to be two at some point in December.
Justin still couldn't walk, but that was because Hermione and him spoiled him by carrying him around everywhere. They didn't give him much of a chance to grow up and learn how.
"I bet Justin could go for a toddler bed. If I didn't know any better, id say that my mother probably kept mine and put it in the attic." Draco said, Hermione smiled and bit her lip. Draco was trying to test and see how long she could last without running up to the attic to see everything. Draco would go in before her and make sure there were no embarrassing pictures of him though.

It took seven hours, just to get all the furniture set up in all the rooms It took three more hours to unpack everything, and Hermione changed a few of the rooms. The kitchen was designed for house elves to work in it, she changed it so it was just a normal kitchen that anyone could use. What Hermione didn't notice, and Draco didn't bother to tell her, was that there were three other kitchens, all on different floors of the manor.
She'd find them, eventually. Like maybe in a few years when she actually got to the third floor. She was still roaming the first floor. While she did that, Draco relaxed in the living room. There were now enough couches, loveseats and armchairs for everyone, so people didn't have to stand around like they did in the apartment. It was better here, Draco had to admit that.
Maya and George shared a couch with Makayla and Fred, Solomon wasn't at the Manor, he was at the Grace's house to see if the girls had recovered from the train attack yet. Pansy and Jack mysteriously had disappeared after getting back from the other world. Draco didn't question it, and he didn't want to. Justin and Teddy were with Hermione.
And Draco didn't worry about Hermione stumbling upon the dungeon, or any of the rooms that were locked off, he put a blood charm on them. Only those who were blood related could get in the rooms. Which meant his father and him, possibly Jack, Maya and he added a second charm, only those over eighteen could get in, which left Teddy out. And Any possible future Malfoys.
Oh yeah, and he was getting ready to apparate out and go get Potter and all the other Gryffindorks. Hermione brought up the fact that they had so much room, they should share it with others. Now, sure, he got along with them, and he already lived with the twins, but he didn't want to live with them, see them every day. Ugh.
"Alright, going to get the rest of the new roommates. Please let half of them turn the offer down." Draco groaned as he got up, Maya rolled her eyes at him and he glared back, well, not really glared, he couldn't glare anymore, not since him and Hermione got together. Ugh. He'd gone really soft.
~~~
All of them. All of them. That kept repeating in his head. Not one of them turned down the offer. Luna, Neville, Harry, Ginny, Jack (Who was with Pansy at the park actually, took Draco three hours to find them), all of them accepted.
