Back in Those Days

Draco handed the potion to Makayla. Snape wasn't even in his class room, so it was an easy snatch. This potion was a very valuable one, able to heal almost any blood wound. If it couldn't heal Pansy, there was no hope.

Makayla bolted back with the potion, the sun was almost up. Draco mustered all of his strength and apparated to Kings Cross. He was exhausted. But he had to be here. He had his wand in his hand. He was about to do allot more walking too. The train was going to be there later than evening. He had time to prepare.

After about half an hour, the sun was up, and the others arrived. Pansy was fully healed. Thank Merlin it worked. They sat down next to him.

"The train is leaving, once it gets off Hogwarts property, we can apparate in." Pansy said softly.

"And I'll find Hermione." Draco went over his part of the plan.

"I'll go make sure the first years are all safe." Makayla said her part of the plan with a nod.

"I'll go gather up some older students that can help us." Blaise announced.

"I'll find the teachers and warn them. Then I'll find Jack." Pansy said. She looked at the Train tracks and the deserted platform. The train would be off Hogwarts Property in less than a hour, and then they could apparate onto it.

It would be dangerous though. Apparating onto a moving train could be disastrous. Draco was willing to take the risk, for Hermione.

"It's time." Blaise said after a good while of sitting in a circle, preparing themselves for a battle. Draco nodded and stood up, taking Blaise and Makayla's wrists to apparate. They took Pansy's hands and Draco concentrated on the train.

They appeared in a calm train. It hadn't started yet, good. The four instantly parted from each other, running to do their jobs. Draco opened every compartment, usually revealing some really confused students. Finally he found Hermione. He grabbed her hand.

"Draco?" She asked. He looked at her. This wasn't his Hermione. His Hermione was still in his world. "Is this about what that guy told us? About being safe?" Jack. Jack had left to tell veryone to be safe. . . . .

"Yes, we need to get you somewhere safe. I need you to help Makayla with the first years. But if anything happens, you get out of here, ok?" Draco ordered. She nodded and followed Draco to the back of the train, where Makayla was supposed to bring the first years. She wasnt there yet. It was ok, she was probably gathering first years still. Draco checked in the compartments at the end of the train, all empty, thank merlin.

He ran back down the train. There was a loud explosion and screaming. Draco's eyes went cold, like they were during he battle of Hogwarts. He rushed into the room where the screaming took place. There was a giant hole in the train. The girls were struggling to keep hold of something.

Draco's eyes turned back to the soft grey and he helped all the girls get out of the compartment. He sent them to the back of the train. Draco felt himself jolt forwards, the train sped up. Draco was now struggling to walk, but he went in the compartments and told all students that couldnt fight to get to the back of the train.  He found Theo, Harry, Ginny, Fred, George, Maya and all the others in a compartment, then knew something was wrong, but they didnt know exactly what. Their compartment was pretty far away from where the girls had screamed.

"Go to the back of the train, Makayla and Hermione will explain everything." Draco ordered. He kept going, getting students out of their compartments.
