Back in That Musical?

Draco blinked several times as his vision unblurred. He looked around, first of all, he was in a large crowd, he didn't know where yet. It was night, but there was allot of light.  He heard singing in the distance, the voice was familiar, but he couldn't quite pin it with all the ringing in his ears. The crowd was quietly sitting and/or standing, as though the music was fake to them, and honestly, nothing looked real about this. Draco had just gone to bed with Hermione, Justin, and Teddy when all the sudden he ended up here?

Draco pinched himself, whatever it was, it wasn't a dream. It could be like what happened last time they tried to attack voldemort and he saw his mother. Though, this wasn't tempting him to stay in any way.

He stood to look over the crowds. A woman was singing on stage, she had mouse brown hair and decently pale skin, poking out of her hair were fox ears and behind her was a fox tail. HERMIONE?

Her eyes met his, she shrugged as she continued to sing Titanium. She tilted her head in a slight motion that only he would notice, Draco looked to where she motioned for, Maya was pacing back and forth right next to Makayla. Teddy in Maya's arms and Justin in Makayla's. Both girls looked deep in thought.

Draco jogged over to them and almost opened his mouth to talk, but Maya quickly stopped him. His brows furrowed, she sighed and guided him over to a table covered in the sign-up papers. Maya grabbed a pen, still balancing Teddy in her arms she wrote on the paper.

"Everything comes out in song, they're making Hermione sing." Maya wrote. Draco took the pen from her.

"Who?" He wrote. Maya paused to look at Makayla, as though asking her if it was a good idea to tell him. Makayla nodded swiftly.

"Your father, there's something wrong here, it's not our world, and it keeps changing, at least that's what Kay says, she remembers everything from the previous worlds, every time we switch worlds, a new person joins and I and Makayla were the first two, this is the seventh. We've got Me, Makayla, you, Hermione, Teddy, Justin, and Solomon, we've got a feeling Pansy is next." Maya wrote quickly, her handwriting grew sloppy as Teddy struggled to clamber out of her arms.

"Why would my father want us to siiiiiiiiiiiiinggggggggg? Draco blinked several times as he made the mistake of opening his mouth. Then his eyes widened at the fact that he could actually sing. Maya snorted with laughter, Draco would have kicked her or scowled, but she was holding Teddy.

"I don't know."  Maya wrote. Draco looked over his shoulder at Hermione on stage. Her voice was beautiful, he had heard her sing before, she had whispered a lullaby to Justin once before, he already knew he loved her voice. Just as much as he loved her. Draco had sung only once before, and that was a very short thing with Blaise and Theo, unfortunately, Pansy was around and told almost the whole school about it, so Draco hadn't sung since then. Draco turned and took the pen from Maya.

"So how do we end this?" Draco wrote.

"Everyone has to sing on stage at least once, other than anyone under ten, so Teddy and Justin are ruled out." Maya scribbled so horribly Draco could barely read it, he took Teddy from her arms and allowed her to write properly. Draco groaned.

"Dwaco?" Teddy asked, luckily he didn't sing.

"Hmm?" Draco hummed, even that had a tune to it.

"Can we go home now?" Teddy asked he sounded exhausted. Draco shook his head. Maya tapped his shoulder and pointed to the paper.

"Sing him a lullaby, so we can move onto the next one, maybe whoever shows up next can help us." Her handwriting was much neater after she got to use both hands properly. Draco glared for a moment then looked at Teddy rubbing his eyes.

--------------("Look at the stars, how they shine in the sky,
--------------\Tell them your dreams, tell them your hopes,
Hermione \Maybe, just maybe, they'll grant your wish,
--------------\sleep, dear child, sleep, and dream,
--------------(dream of the stars, every one."

Hermione appeared by Draco silently and sang the lullaby before he could tell Maya no.

--------("Everyone, dream of the stars,
--------\Dream, and sleep, child dear, sleep,
Draco\they'll grant your wish, maybe, just maybe,
--------\tell them your hopes, tell them your dreams,
--------(how they shine in sky, look, at, the, stars."

Draco sang the song backwards to finish the lullaby, and the world. Teddy closed his eyes and the world spun until Draco almost lost his balance. Then he opened his eyes, everyone was still by his side, but Solomon and Jack were there.

"What's going on?" Jack groaned in a melody tune. He coughed as his eyes widdened. Maya groaned and threw the paper that her and Draco wrote on at Jack.

"Ok seer, what happened?" Maya sang. She rolled her eyes at her own voice.

"Cant say," Solomon muttered the easiest way to get out of singing.

"I can." Makayla sang, she covered her mouth in surprise, she knew she was going to sing, she just didn't know it would sound like that.

"Pretty voice." Draco thought sarcastically. Makayla rolled her eyes at him knowingly. Her being a legilimens had its perks. It wasn't two way, but he could talk directly to her.

"We're trapped," Makayla began, again pausing at her voice singing. "this wasn't Lucius' doing, the dark one only wants us to believe that."

------------("Where the dark one treads,
------------\Where all dread,
------------\that's where we need to seek,
Makayla \but be careful, not to speak,
------------\for where it's dark,
------------\there is a spark,
------------(where all but the dark one flee from."

Everyone stared at Makayla for a moment before reacting.

They knew where they needed to go.
