"Paisley?" I heard Gerard's voice.

"Go away!" I yelled.

"Paisley, I'm coming in." He burst through the door and saw me sitting against the wall with my mascara running and my eyeliner smearing as I cried. He sat next to me and put his arms around me.

"I broke up with her." He said.

"What?" I asked.

"There's no way I was going to pick her over you after what she said." He pulled me to his chest and I buried my face in his shirt.

We sat there for what seemed like forever. He got up and said,"Look at me."

I looked up at him the looked back down. He picked me up off the floor and tilted my chin up to meet his eyes. "Don't worry about her. You are not a bitch. You are an amazing person. Your nice, your smart, your funny, you are a much better person than she thinks she is."

After he said that, I couldn't help but to hug him. I wrapped my arms around his neck tightly and didn't want to let go. He was a little surprised at first but he hugged me back.

She hugged me around my neck tightly. I hugged her back. She smelled so good and I meant what I said to her. I've enjoyed one day with her more than I enjoyed three months with Amber. Paisley was very beautiful and she was so sweet and she was incredibly smart and I felt lucky just to know her. I smiled. We pulled apart after a couple minutes. I put my arm around her shoulder and walked her out of the bathroom. When we walked out, Mikey, Ray, Bob and Frank were there. They were worried and wanted to know if everything was alright. I reassured them that everything was going to be okay. Even though there was still one more class left, I thought that Paisley might want to go home and calm down. The guys went to their next classes as the bell rang and I turned Paisley towards me.

"Hey. You okay?" I asked. She nodded like a little child.

"Do you want to get some coffee?"

I asked.

"Right now?" She looked at me confused.

"Yeah. They don't pay attention to us anyway." I told her.

She nodded her head. We walked out of the school and made our way to the coffee shop where we first met. I told her to go pick us out a table as I made my way to the counter. I ordered us two coffees with milk and sugar and some donuts. I went to the table that she was at. She chose the table by the window. I sat down on the opposite side of her. She still looked a little sad. I handed her her coffee and she thanked me. We sat there for a few minutes, eating donuts and drinking coffee. I wanted to cheer her up.

"Hey you see that guy over there?" I asked pointing to a man in a business suit who was talking on the phone.

"Yeah." She said.

"So that guy, he's talking on the phone with his wife about what kind of tampons to get her while he's on his way home and he says he's going to the store when what he's really going to do is meet up with his secret lover who just happens to be a drag queen that looks like Dolley Parton." I said.

A smile slowly showed on her face and she giggled.

"Okay. You see that girl over there?" She nodded her head towards a girl with hot pink hair and a tight dress.

"She has a crush on her best friend and wants to get him a birthday present but can't decide on a dress or high heels because he's a cross dresser." She laughed.

I laughed along with her.

"Not bad, Pays, not bad at all." I

said.

We finished our coffee and I offered to walk her home. We talked about her first day of school and what Amber said to her about staying away from me. She told me about her favorite bands and I listened to every word she said. We arrived at her house. I didn't want her to go.

"Hey."

I looked at her and asked,"Yes?"

"Do you want to come inside? Watch a movie or something? I have popcorn." I couldn't help but to smile at her and accept her invitation. We went inside her house and it was different from when I was last there. Now, there were pictures on the walls and fresh paint.
