WTF13- Grandparents

Luke's POV

Nang makarating sa bahay ay dumiretso ako sa kwarto ko. Naihatid ko na sila Sophia.

I look at my watch. 9:34.

I went to the bathroom to take a shower. I feel so tired.

After 30 minutes, I'm done. Ready to sleep but..

*knock knock*

"Who's that?" I yelled.

"It's me son. Please open the door." Tumayo ako at pinagbuksan ng pinto si Mommy.

Nakaalis na si Mir papunta sa ibang bansa. Kaya kami na lang ulit tatlo dito sa bahay.

"Why mom?" I said in a sleepy tone.

"Your dad wants to talk to you. Let's go?" She asked. Tumango na lang ako.

Kahit inaantok na ko, kailangan ko pa din silang sundin.

Nang makapasok sa mini office ni Daddy ay pinaupo niya ako sa couch. Nasa sofa sila ni Mommy.

"Dad I want to sleep. Pakibilisan na lang po yung sasa---"

"You told us that you are going to hang out with your highschool friend. But your girlfriend called as and told us that you are having an affair to one of your employee?" Seryosong saad ni Dad kaya napaayos ako ng upo.

The hell? Pati ba naman yun sasabihin pa niya?

"D-dad wait. I'm not having an aff--"

"Zion. What the hell is your problem? At talagang nakipag-break ka pa daw sa kanya?" Did she told them too that I have a children?

I heave a sigh.

"I don't love her dad. And she know that." I look at the other direction.

"And about the affair?" He asked.
Should I tell them the truth?

Again. I sighed deeply and look at them. They are both waiting for an answer.

"I... Dad, mom. I... Am a father." Halata sa kanilang dalawa ang gulat.

"What?" Natanong ni Mommy.

"Really?" Nanlalaki ang matang tanong ni Daddy.

"O-opo." Yumuko ako.

"Why didn't you told us that Zion?" Mom asked.

"Ayoko pong biglain kayo. Nagulat din ako na may mga anak na ko dahil kamakailan ko lang sila nakilala. Pero masaya ako kasama ang mga bata."

"Are you sure that they are yours?" Dad asked. I nodded. "How sure you are? Did you take a DNA test?"

"I'm really sure dad. I know they are mine. Features pa lang nila alam kong sa kin na. And that happened seven years ago. Six years old na ang kambal at--"

"Wait. Kambal? You have twins?" This time, mom looks so amaze.

"Yes. A girl and a boy." I smiled. I'm sure they will accept my children.

"Good to know that Son. Matagal na kong tutol sa inyo ng Brina na yon. And I'm happy that I have my grandchildren. What's their name?" Nakangiting tanong ni Daddy kaya mas napangiti ako.

"Saskia and Zion. The girl is really humble and talkative, while the boy got my attitude. Actually, dad and mom, kanina lang ako natanggap ni Zion."

Lumapit sa kin si Mommy at niyakap ako.

"I'm so proud of you Son. Natanggap mo ang mga anak mo. I'm happy for you."

"Thanks mom."

"Ehem. But when will we see the kids?" Dad asked. I smiled.

"I can bring them here on Saturday, I think.."

"Wow. Good to hear that. I will buy them a toys."

"Dad.. Don't spoiled them." Nasabi ko na lang. They really looks so excited to see the kids.

"Ahm. What about their mother?" Napahinto ako sa tanong ni Mom. Pero napangiti din nang maisip ko ang mala-anghel na mukha ni Sophia.

"Hmmm.. It looks like my son is starting to like someone." Nakangiting sabi ni mommy.

Umiling ako at ngumiti.

"You'll meet her too. And I'm telling you mom and dad, she is really a good mother." And she's happy to be with.

"Mabuti pala at nalinaw mo. You can go to your room now." I nodded my head and went back to my room.

Pagkahiga ko sa kama, kinuha ko yung cellphone ko.

To: Sophia

Soph, my parents knew about the kids. They want to meet them.

Huminga ako ng malalim at binitawan ang cellphone ko. Pero naalala ko pala...

I get my phone again and text her.

To Sophia:

They also want to meet you so better be ready on Saturday night. That's all
