Luke's POV
To be honest, I am really nervous. Parents ni Sophia yun! How couldn't I be nervous?
Now here we are, lying on my bed. Nasa gitna namin yung kambal.
"Zion pray na tayo." I heard Saskia whispered.
"Go on."
"In the name of the father, the son, the Holy Spirit. Amen. Dear Papa God. Thank you po for giving us ng pretty and handsome mimi and Daddy. You know po? Wala na po kaming wish ni Zion kasi po happy na kami. Thank you din po sa blessings po."
"And thank you po for giving us this life po. Promise po namin ni Kia magiging good girl and good boy po kami. Love na love po namin sila Mama at Daddy. Thank you po." Zion prayed.
"And sorry po if makulit kami sometimes. That's all po. In the name of the father, the son, the Holy Spirit. Amen." I smiled.
They are not only kind, but also a religious twins.
"Good night mimi." Saskia kissed her on the cheeks.
"Night mama." Zion did the same.
"Good night daddy!" They said in chorus and kissed me too.
I tried to sleep. But I can't. I looked at them.
I suddenly smiled. I've never been happy like this.
They became my everything. They became my life. I can't afford to lose one of them. They became my happiness. And they taught me how to be contented.
I kissed them on their forehead and went out of the room.
Pumunta ako sa mini bar sa kitchen. I think I need some liquor.
I get the red wine and pour my wine glass.
I've never been so nervous like this too. Kahit sa mga meeting ko hindi ako kinabahan ng ganito. This is the first time I felt this nervous.
But I am excited too to meet them. They are Sophia's parents. Hindi lang talaga maalis sa kin yung kaba.
The thought of them being mad at me makes me nervous. Ano na lang yung sasabihin nila sa kin?
"Kuya.." I looked back.
"Mir.. What are you still awake?" I asked.
Umupo siya sa katabing stool ko at kumuha din ng wine.
"Naalimpungatan lang. Problem?" I smirked. He knows me well, I guess?
"Uuwi yung parents ni Sophia bukas. I'm just nervous."
"Alam mo Kuya, wala kang mapapala sa Kaba mo, sa mga business meetings and proposals mo nga di ka na kinakabahan eh. Naiintindihan ko naman na, siyempre di mo naman pinanindigan si Ate Sophia dati kaya talagang may possibility na magalit sa'yo yung parents niya, especially her dad."
"Yeah I know, but I'm willing to do everything para matanggap nila ako. I love their daughter like how I love my children."
"Tell that to them. And be who you are in front of them. I'm sure kuya maiintindihan ka nila. Isa pa, may rason ka. At nagkasundo na din kayo dati ni Ate Sophia dahil di niyo naman alam na may mabubuo." I smiled and patted his shoulder.
"Bakit ikaw wala pang girlfriend?" I asked.
"Kuya naman, alam mong wala pa sa isip ko yang mga ganyan."
Mir never have a girlfriend. Mas priority niya ang pagtuturo at gusto niyang patunayan kay Dad na hindi siya mali sa trabahong pinili niya.
I know Daddy is proud of him, hindi lang niya maipakita dahil nga nasa business ang buhay niya.
