The gentle sway of the car woke Louis up, well, that and the seatbelt buckle that was pressed against his side. He opening his eyes, blinking away the blurriness of his vision. Louis sat up slowly, his body retaliating for the uncomfortable sleeping position with sheer soreness.
The sun rise's golden light illuminated the black interior of the car, and temporarily blinded Louis from the sudden bright rays. Once his eyes had adjusted again, the boy looked around the vehicle for any person who could provide an explanation.
"Edward?" Louis saw his long hair from the back seat and came to the conclusion that it was the man he so desperately wanted to see.
At the realization of Louis being awake, he glanced over at the boy in the rear view mirror. "I'm afraid it's Harry."
Louis slouched and looked out of the window, the sunrise truly was breathtaking; orange and vibrant pink swirled together in the sky, creating the most beautiful nature-made painting, but he still couldn't take his mind off of Edward. "What happened last night?"
Harry cleared his throat, "Um, after I took you from Marcel, he got Edward and left-"
"How is Edward? I-Is he okay?" Louis felt no embarrassment for suddenly caring about the Adonis, he just wanted to know that he was safe.
"Both of my brothers are fine, yes," Harry said with a chuckle, his statement made Louis relax back into the comfortable leather seat.
"Where is Edwa- I mean where are they now?"
Harry smirked at the boy through the rear view mirror. "Right behind us."
Louis whipped his head around, sighing in relief at the flawless black Range Rover that followed them. He wished the windows weren't tinted so he could see with his own eyes that the man was okay.
Louis spend ten minutes just staring at the sleek car, wondering what they could be doing inside, before a thought stuck in his mind and didn't let him concentrate.
"Harry... If I didn't see them myself, when exactly were you planning on telling me that the intruders were my family?"
Harry made no attempt to reply, he just occupied himself with staring at the seemingly endless road ahead of them.
"Hello?" Louis glared at the back of Harry's head, huffing and crossing his arms at the silence on the man's part.
"Pull over, I don't want to be with you right now. I want to punch you in the face." Louis unbuckled his seat belt and tried to open the door, despite locking and unlocking it though, it wouldn't open.
"You fucking put child lock on me?" Louis seethed, kicking the back of Harry's seat when he ignored him. "Hello? Answer me you fucking asshat!"
Harry looked around the street, before roughly turning into a dirt road, the sudden movement throwing Louis against the other side of the car.
"Harry, what the fuck!" Louis sat up, rubbing his head.
"Nobody asked you to take your seatbelt off, Babe."
Louis moved to lean over the center console. "Oh yeah? Well nobody fucking-" Louis looked up at the mansion they were approaching, the gate in front of it slowly opening. "Woah."
"Welcome home, Baby."

After Harry had parked and opened Louis' door, the boy slowly got out of the car, never once taking his eyes off of the gorgeous house in front of him. "Woah."
"I know." Harry leaned back against the car. "This one is my favorite beach house."
Louis looked over at Harry, the smirk plastered on his face reminded him of Edward.
Edward
"Edward!" Louis gasped and turned around, running towards the parked Range Rover behind them.
He hit his hand on the window of the car, opening the door to reveal Marcel sitting on the passenger side, wiping the blood off of his glasses.
"Hey, Baby Doll."
"Why the fuck where you driving?!- no, why the fuck did you let him drive?" Louis stood with his hands on his hips, glaring at the brothers.
Edward smirked. "It's nice to see you too."
"No, don't think you can just show up and smile, and that'll make everything alright."
Edward got out of the car and made his way over to the boy.
"No Edward."
He smiled and tucked a strand of hair behind Louis' ear. "You're very beautiful."
"Edward-"
"I've missed you, Baby Doll." Edward wrapped his arms around Louis' waist.
"You can't just do that, Edward! You can't just almost die a-and... and." Louis teared up and pursed his lips.
"Doll, the bullet just barely grazed me; it's okay. I'm here," Edward mumbled into the top of Louis head, bringing him closer.
Louis smacked Edward's chest. "No! Promise you won't die."
Edward looked down at Louis, amused. "Doll, I can't promise that I won't die-"
"Promise that to me, Edward. I need you to promise me."
Edward looked at the boy's face, thick tears were now streaming down his face from his red rimmed eyes.
"...okay, okay. I won't die."
"You promise?" Louis looked up at him with wide blue eyes.
"Of course, Doll." Edward kissed the boy's forehead, wiping his tears away. "I promise."
