Edward concluded that Louis was made so beautiful, so people would put up with him. At this time though, Louis' beauty was getting him nowhere.

"What did I specifically tell you not to do?"

Louis looked down in shame, for some reason it didn't cross his mind that he would get caught. "You told me not to leave the room."

"And what did you do, Louis? Speak up for me on this one."

"I left the room."

"Very good, Doll. Now, tell me, why did you leave the room?" Edward said, slowly raising Louis' chin. "Because last I remember, you know the little patience I have for disobedience."

Louis adjusted his arms, which were falling asleep from the position the big men were holding them in. "I wanted to find the man."

"Now, why would you find following a highly trained hitman to be a smart idea?" Edward spoke slowly, he was really trying to understand Louis' situation without jumping the gun and hurting the small boy.

"I-I don't know," Louis mumbled.

"You are so incredibly lucky that Zayn recognized you," Edward said, rubbing his temples. "But now you have to face me, so I suppose your luck is gone again."

Louis didn't know what to say, he shuffled on his feet, hoping Edward would forget everything.

"Apologize to Zayn. Right now."

"I'm sorry." Louis looked over at the man, under any other circumstances Louis would have snapped at Edward, but he knew how much trouble he was already in.

"It's quite alright," Zayn said, nodding once as his means of telling the men to let go of Louis.

"I'll attend to you gentlemen later." Edward cleared his throat, waiting for the men to leave before continuing, but not taking his eyes off of Louis.

"A knife? Really? You followed after him with a knife?" Edward sighed and rubbed his jaw. "I don't even know what to do with you right now, Louis. You could have been killed. Why would you do that?"

"I saw him before, he was the one that put the roofie in my drink. Um... h-he was the bartender," Louis mumbled, glancing at the older man.

To that, Edward had to laugh dryly. "So you thought you could kill him with my pocket knife?"

Louis shrugged, playing with his fingers behind his back. "I didn't think I could kill him."

"Then what did you think, Louis?"

"I don't know, I wasn't thinking."

Edward sighed and pursed his lips, shaking his head slowly. "I'm so mad right now, I'm afraid if I punish you, I'll end up killing you."

Louis tensed and shut his eyes as Edward walked towards him.

"I'll be back, just- don't move."

The sound of the door opening and closing signaled Edward's departure, so Louis opened his eyes.

He sighed, but stood in his spot, he didn't want to give Edward any other reason to be even more mad at him.

It was about ten minutes later when Edward came back, bearing metal handcuffs.

"Um, what are you going to do with that?" Louis asked hesitantly.

Edward didn't speak, instead, he handcuffed Louis to the bedpost.

Louis looked at the tight metal hoop around his wrist, "this is my punishment?"

"No, Doll. You wish this was your punishment."
