Dan has never seen a face in his life. Dan could never see anyone's face since it was covered in a blur. Dan's condition was unknown and quite and he'd doubt (get it |-/) he would ever get to see a face again but he was extremely mistaken. For some unknown reason Dan could only see Phil's face and nobody else's. Dan did wish he could see someone else's face instead of Phil since Phil didn't treat Dan very nicely.
