Phil was a target for many people especially Darran. Dan just happened to be walking passed his crush who was in utter pain in the hallway. Dan watched as the bullies beat Phil up feeling extremely sorry for him but there was nothing much he could do to help. He may like Phil a lot but he couldn't let the past go. It always bothered him. His relationship. The stinging feeling it left.
