A/N: It has come to my attention that all of my fics have featured only Dean and Cas. (Sorry about that) I'm not really sure how to incorporate other characters yet so give me a little time please. Until then, hope you enjoy this fic.

"Ohmigod you guys are so cute! We should totally go shopping!" exclaimed the blonde that Dean had been eyeing.

Dean looked down at his hand clasped with Cas's, then up at his confused face. Oh, right. Now he was considered "gay." Although he was very happy to be with Cas, he didn't like the label that came with the relationship.

He ignored the girl and prompted that they should keep walking. After a few more blocks of Cas feeling confused, he finally asked his question.

"Why did she say that, Dean?" He said slowly, still trying to figure it out.

Dean sighed. "It's a stereotype. She thinks we're... gay."

"But... aren't we?"

"No! Well yes... I don't know, Cas. It doesn't matter," he said dismissing the thought.

"Okay," Cas said. He was obviously still confused, but he stopped asking questions.

Cas walked Dean home and then disappeared, presumably back to heaven. Sam wasn't in, and since he wasn't currently working on a case he didn't know what to do with himself.

When Sam came back 20 minutes later, he found Dean sitting with his laptop open and books strewn all over the table.

"Dean, what are you doing?" He asked.

"Uh, research," Dean said, getting up to grab a beer.

"Research on what? We're not working on a case."

"Um, you know, the usual stuff," Dean said uneasily.

"'The usual stuff'? You would usually be out right now." They both knew "out" was code for banging some chick in a bar or, more recently, hanging out with Cas.

"Well, you know, I just decided to stay in tonight," he said, shrugging.

"Okay, you're being way to casual about this. What's going on?"

Dean muttered something with the word "gay" in it.

Sam sighed knowingly, causing Dean to look at him indignantly.

"What?" He demanded.

"Dean. This is about you and Cas, isn't it?" No answer. "I'm your brother, Dean. You can tell me what's wrong."

"People keep... People keep thinking I'm gay." Dean took a swig of his beer. (Edit: Please note that in no way is Dean being homophobic or anything he is simply confused about his own sexuality because he has always thought of himself as straight and now he is dating Cas.)

"We used to get mistaken for a gay couple all the time. It never bothered you then."

"But you're my brother Sam; there was no way that could be true. Cas is actually my boyfriend, so it's closer to the truth."

"So it bothers you that you might actually be gay?"

"No, I'm not gay. I'm not... attracted to guys, just Cas. But he is a guy so I don't know what to think anymore." He drained the bottle in his hand.

"So you're not gay," Sam said simply, "I know it, you know it, and it doesn't matter what else people think. Now go out and have fun, I'll finish up whatever you're doing here."

Dean smiled a little bit.

"You know what?" He said, "I think I will. I'll see you later, Sammy."

And with that, he walked out the door, dialing Cas's number as he went.

Whoops, looks like I lied to you guys. That one did have another character. Hope you guys liked it, I know it was more about Dean than Destiel, but please, leave opinions in the comments ^_^ Until next time, keep on keepin' on. (I think that's gonna be my new sign-off. What do you guys think?)
