Destiel One-Shots

Story Ten

A/N: Hello, readers. Here is a fic to make up for that last one where everyone was dead. Sorry about that :/

Recently, it had been hard to get Dean off my mind. I couldn't help but think that I wasn't good enough for him, and it was hard to be happy when I felt like that. Human emotions are so strong; sometimes I wish I was still an angel.

I needed some brotherly advice, and the first person that came to mind was Sam. I talked to him on the phone, and, though he was surprised, he agreed to meet with me.

I concentrated hard on where Sam was, and suddenly appeared behind his back.

"Hello, Sam."

Sam jumped, but realized that it was me and turned to greet me. "Hey, Cas. So what's up?"

I tried to find the right words. "Well, I just can't help but worry that I am not good enough for Dean. I have made many mistakes, and I should not be worthy of such unequivocal love."

Sam shook his head and laughed once.

"I don't understand. I didn't think it was customary to laugh when someone comes to you for help."

"No, it's just that earlier today he was saying the same thing about you."

About me? It was a difficult concept to grasp.

"Really?" Was all I could say.

"Really," he assured me.

I was still worried, but instead of telling him I was I said: "Thank you, Sam. This was a nice visit."

"Take care, Cas."

I appeared on the front steps of our house, and opened the door to see Dean watching TV with a beer in his hand.

Dean's face lit up when he saw me; he smiled the perfect grin that always lifted my spirits.

I thought about what Sam had told me. "Dean," I said, " I want you to know that I love you, and I will always love you, no matter what."

He looked at my face and smiled widely; the smile lines around his eyes stood out, which made me smile, too.

He stood up and walked over to me, enveloping me in a big hug before locking lips with me.

"Cas, I feel the same way. Forever."

Ta-da! Hopefully you feel better? If you even felt sad in the first place but I mean yeah. What did you guys think? I haven't written them kissing since like Story One, so that was a change. Also say hello to Sam! Briefly, but still better than no Sam, correct? Until next time, keep on keepin on!
