A/N: Three updates one week? I'm on a roll! I just haven't been able to stop writing. So hope you enjoy this fic, this time told mostly from third-person POV. (I'm done with Cas's... at least for now...)

Dean's POV

It all started when I bought that damned pool table. I thought it would be nice to have around, play a game every now and then, maybe even teach Cas how to play. I have never been so wrong.

~Three Days Earlier~

Third-Person POV

"Hey, Cas! Come see this!" Dean called from the garage.

Cas walked in and found Dean sitting on the edge of a new pool table, a wide grin on his face.

"My new pool table!" He said excitedly, "Wanna play?"

"Pool?" Castiel wasn't exactly sure what the game was, but he agreed to play to make Dean happy. "Sure, but... could you teach me how?"

"Oh. I forgot. Sure," Dean said, still smiling. He hopped off the table and briefly explained the rules and objective of the game.

Dean broke, and then stood behind Castiel and helped him make his first shot. At the end of the game, Dean won, but Cas showed a lot of potential. They both knew that with a little practice, he would be at least as good as Dean. It was this very knowledge that fueled Castiel's enthusiasm for the game.

"Dean," he said, smiling slightly, "Can we play again?"

Dean smiled too. "Sure."

Cas slowly got better, and they played well into the night. Dean finally got to tired to play anymore, and would've slept on the pool table if Cas hadn't carried him to bed.

"Goodnight, Dean," Cas whispered, tucking him into bed.

~The Next Morning~

When Dean got out of bed, Cas was nowhere to be found.

"Cas?" He called

He walked around the house, calling Castiel's name as he went, but still couldn't find him.

Finally, he thought to check the garage. Castiel was standing by the pool table, with the balls set up and two queues chalked. Dean stopped in his tracks when he saw Castiel.

"Seriously, Cas? I haven't even eaten breakfast yet."

"Can we play, Dean?" Castiel pleaded.

Dean sighed. "Let me eat first," he said.

Cas stood over Dean the whole time he was eating breakfast, but Dean didn't say anything.

He stood up when he was done and said, "Okay, Cas, we can play now."

Cas smiled his best smile and towed Dean to the garage by his hand.

"I'll break," said Cas.

He expertly lined the queue ball up with the rest and broke very nicely. Dean was impressed.

"Someone's been doing their homework," he remarked.

Cas looked pleased. "I practiced all night," he told Dean.

"All night?" Dean said, concerned, "Babe, you gotta sleep sometimes; you're not an angel anymore."

"I just wanted to play pool," Cas muttered. He looked upset and tired.

"Hey," Dean said softly, putting a hand on Castiel's stubbly cheek, "It's okay. I know you're just excited. Let's play, okay?"

Cas nodded, "Okay."

They continued the game, and Castiel finally beat Dean.

"Nice, Cas," Dean said proudly.

Cas smiled brightly and started setting up for another game.

"Hold on a second," Dean said, grabbing Cas's hands so that he couldn't continue setting up. "Don't you think we've played enough for now?"

"I... I guess so."

That night, Dean made sure Cas got into bed with him.

"You're gonna sleep tonight," Dean said to Cas.

Cas nodded and snuggled up to Dean's chest. Dean held him there and they fell asleep quickly.

Late in the night, Dean was awaken by Castiel's quiet whisper.

"Dean. Dean? I can't sleep. Can we play pool?"

Dean opened his eyes and glanced at the alarm clock on the bedside table.

"Cas," he said sleepily, "It's 3 AM. Go back to sleep."

Dean followed his own advice and was asleep soon. Cas laid back down beside him and stared at the ceiling. Nearly an hour later, he finally fell back asleep.

~The Next Next Morning~

"Dean. Dean. Wake up, Dean."

Dean rolled over in bed.

"Cas, do you wanna do something today?" He mumbled.

"Yes, we should pla--"

"How about we get out of the house?" Dean interrupted. "Do you want to see a movie?" Anything to avoid the garage.

"Okay, let's go out," Cas agreed.

***

Dean kept Castiel out of the house as long as he could, but eventually they had to go home. When they did, around 6:00, the first thing Castiel wanted to do was, you guessed it, play pool. Dean managed to convince him that first they should make dinner...

And then eat...

Have a drink...

And shower...

Then brush their teeth...

Finally he ran out of things to distract Cas with, and it was only 8:00.

"How about we..." but there was nothing left to do.

"Play pool?" Cas suggested.

Dean sighed, and decided it was time to bite the bullet. "Cas, I'm glad that you're," he paused, "Enthusiastic about this, but... you're starting to get obsessed."

Realization dawned on Castiel's face. "Oh. I'm sorry, Dean. I guess I got... overexcited. I didn't mean to..." he trailed off, looking ashamed.

"It's fine," Dean sighed, "Let's just do something else, okay?"

"Okay."

Wow. That was longer than I intended. But I hope it was suitable :) Also it sort of ended with a TFIOS reference but yeah. Until next time, keep in keepin on!
