It was the middle of the night and Belle woke up sweating and breathing heavily. She knew she had a nightmare, she just couldn't remember what it was. The feeling was unusual and strange to her, nothing like that had ever happened before. She rubbed her eyes and opened them slowly to see Enoch stood above her, her body jolted backwards and her crown smacked the headboard on the bed. "Is everything okay?" He asked her again, having already asked her this question previously in the past twenty-four hours.
"I'm fine." Belle replied.
"That's not what it sounded like. You were screaming." Enoch sat beside her. "Now unless it distinctly sounded like Claire, I wouldn't have come and checked if everything was okay. I can just about stand you, now spill." Said Enoch with a slight grumble latching onto his words. Belle shrugged. "You canny be serious. Tell me Florence."
"I don't remember. All I remember is waking up."
"What do you mean?"
"Exactly what I said."Belle snapped, brushing the hair from her face. "Why don't I remember?"
"How the bird should I know? Look, I haven't known you long, for all I know this may not be the first time this has happened. Now go back to sleep, and try not to wake me up again." Enoch stood up and headed towards the door, his bare back and messy curls the only sight Belle could see in the darkness-did I mention he was shirtless?
"You're an arse, y'know that right?"
"So I have been told, many of times." Enoch replied the door shutting afterwards. The girl sighed.
What in Rowena's name just happened?
A shirtless boy just left your room, dumbarse.
Not that bit!
Oh then I don't know.
Why the fuck am I arguing with myself?
Belle shook her head and swung herself off of the bed and over to the window sill, the stars were shining clearly through the dark night. At this time the O.W.L.S. Astronomy class would be taking notes and using the telescopes and star maps to complete their lesson with Professor Sinistra. One of the only lessons where all of the houses are mixed. Not all of the students take that lesson, however, she knew Lee took Astronomy but the twins didn't.
SHIT! My O.W.L.S.! What's going to happen with my exams?
That's one thing she would have to endeavor from Miss Peregrine or at least the arse that just left the room, *Cough* Enoch *Cough*. Tomorrow was her first day of lessons with Miss Peregrine and to say the truth, Belle was uneasy about the whole thing. Would this single woman be able to teach of the lessons? Remus could but even he had his faults, Belle wasn't the easiest of students and she hoped that would not change the other children's views on her. Would they start to call her 'Brainless Belle'?

"Children are you ready?"Asked Miss Peregrine as the children all took a seat at desks in a room that was laid out like a classroom. Just like the desks at Hogwarts the desks were made for two, and to say the least, the seating order was easily guessed.
At least at the back of the classroom, nobody could see her work. Somehow sitting in the classroom made Belle remember that she hadn't written in her diary for quite sometime and that was something she needed to do. Miss Peregrine began to teach her lesson of history of magic, and just like she did back in Hogwarts, Belle scribbled down the notes, every last word of what the bird was saying. "Psst." She heard from in front of her. She looked up to see Miss Peregrine helping Claire with something and the others reading, all except Victor who was looking straight at her. "You know you don't have to write everything word for word right?" Belle nodded. "Then why do you do it?"
"Because I want to."
"But that must be very tiresome and not to mention boring." Victor stated.
Enoch grunted, "Leave her be."
"I was only asking the damn girl!"Victor turned to his friend his hand sup as if he was surrendering. "What's got your scalpel in a knot?"
"Just shut up, Vic."
"No, I don't think I will." The Bruntley boy smirked. "La la la la la la la la."
Miss Peregrine shot her head up from Claire's parchment, "Victor please quieten down."
"Sorry Miss P."
Enoch cackled, "You're annoying me, you've annoyed the bird, and no doubt you're annoying Belle, Bruntley."
"And you're annoying me, O'Connor." Belle shook her head a smile etching on her face, something about the boys' bickers reminded her of Fred, George and Lee. Of course there was no way that Enoch and Victor could ever replace the three Gryffindors but they certainly had some of the mannerisms of them.

Dear Journal,
It has been a while. I mean the past few days have been hectic. I have been removed from Hogwarts, I have been sent to a children's home/school. I met new people and they are all pretty nice, I mean a couple of them can be right arses when they want to be but so far everything has been alright. I must admit out of everyone Enoch has spoken to me the most and despite being a dickhead to most of the others he seems okay to me, but hey-ho we shall see what happens.
Another thing- I NOW KNOW MY DAD! It's weird saying-I mean writing that because I never thought I would live to see the day when I would. Besides, it definitely wasn't someone I thought it would be. You remember the teacher I was telling you about a couple of entries ago? Professor Remus (I don't know his middle name) Lupin is my father! I know right! It's totally unexpected and crazy! He assumes that he is the reason my mother removed me from Hogwarts, but I hardly think that is a reasonable excuse. She cannot keep me from knowing my father, she has done that for too long already. I know that there is an alleged curse on the DADA position but I hope he stays, and I hope that I can convince Miss Peregrine to get me reinstated at Hogwarts, it's great here but, as I have said previously, it is not the same.
Anywho, I cannot wait to get to know my father. I better go, dinner will be ready in two minutes and thirty four seconds.
From Belle Florence,
age fifteen,
in her bedroom,
at Miss Peregrine's home for Peculiar Children.
