The next morning belle woke up with a stonking headache and feeling cold. She sat up surveying her surroundings and found herself in bed next to Fred who was wrapped up tightly in two duvets and Lee's spare blanket. Gasping, she looked down at herself and found that she was no longer in her school uniform.
A look of sheer panic spread across her face at the idea of Fred changing her whilst she was not awake filled her mind and nearly made her faint once more.
"Don't worry, he got Angie and Alicia to change you whilst all of us, including him, waited outside." Said a voice from the bed next to them. She turned and saw George sat up with a look of amusement spread across his face. "He also saved you brownies."
Belle sighed in relief and looked down at a softly sleeping Fred, "Sahem he didn't save me any covers."
George sniggered, "Lee covered you with his blanket in the night, he truly is a blanket hog. Sorry, Belle."
"Not your fault, how are you anyway, George? It feels like ages since we have spoken."
George nodded, "I'm okay," he said quietly and it didn't sound convincing.
"You want to talk about it? I'm all ears." Belle carefully climbed out of the bed and bunched up the waistband of the sweatpants she was wearing and lifted them up so that she didn't trip. Belle joined George and sat beside him as he looked down into his lap.
"How did you realise you liked Freddie?" He asked her playing with the loose strands of a blanket his mother must have knitted.
Belle sighed, "I don't know, I mean it sort of just happened, I suppose. Like, I wasn't entirely sure of the friends thing because there was always something different about Fred compared to you, Lee and Luna. I always had this weird feeling in my gut and stomach when he spoke to me, hugged me or just smiled. I didn't feel that with the rest of you, or anyone at the home and I have read a lot of books so I just concluded that was it and well, you know the rest. Do you think you like someone?"
George shrugged, "I...I...I...I don't know. This gut feeling was ita nice feeling?" Belle nodded. "Then I guess I do."
Belle smiled, "That's good then, George."
George leaned closer, "Would you promise not to tell if you knew?" Belle nodded again, "Timothée Sanders."
"That curly brunette in Hufflepuff?" George nodded shyly, "Aww, you'd be so cute!"
George sighed in relief, "You don't think it's weird I like...boys...do you?"
Belle shook her head, "Of course not, George, why would I? You can like whoever you want, don't worry about what people say? Is this why I have never seen you with girls except for a quick night?"
A tear slipped down George's cheek and Belle wiped it away, "I didn't know why I was feeling the way I was about guys and I wanted to cure it. I didn't enjoy it one bit. I...I knew...I knew I liked...you know whats...because of Wood."
"I don't understand, what does Wood have to do with it?"
"I fancied him, it's why I teased him so much..." George muttered and Belle wrapped him up in a hug. Belle held him close as the boy sobbed into her shoulder, she couldn't imagine fighting such a battle with herself like he was. "I joked around, not last Christmas but the Christmas before, and mum thought I had come out, I wish it was that easy. I denied it and preached how straight I was but it made me feel sick doing so. I didn't know who to talk to and I wanted to get it off my chest. Thank you for understanding and listening."
"Fred would have listened, but, I am honoured that you found that you were able to confide in me, George." Belle smiled.
"That's the thing. I'm scared Freddie wouldn't understand. No offence, but he has been so wrapped up with you that he hardly listens to me unless he has a problem or we're planning a product or prank. I have tried so many to times to come out to him but each time I have built up the courage I never got chance too."
"I'm sorry Georgie, I didn't realise." The two's heads snapped up to see Fred stood beside the bed. "I'm so sorry you have had to go through this all on your own." He outstretched his arms and engulfed his twin in a hug.
"It's fine, Freddie."
"No, it's not. I am a horrible twin! I am supposed to be the one you go to but you couldn't because I am a self-centred git!"
"Yeah, you are. But you're in love. Mum always says love has the power to vanquish all and change a person. You love Be-"
"George don't!"
It was too late. Belle's eyes rolled back once more and thankfully she was sat on the bed and only fell back onto George's pillow.
George bit his lip and chuckled, "Whoops."

The third task was upon Hogwarts and there was an antsy mod around in the air. Once more Belle and Luna sported half-badger-half-lion headresses and colours whilst sitting in the stands in front of the large maze. Belle watched as Mrs Weasley and Bill stood talking with Harry, whom they had filled in the spot of the parent/guardians who were allowed to come and watch. She also spotted Cedric and his father talking and she sent Cedric a smile and thumbs up when he caught her eye. Over the course of the year, the pair had become good friends from the countless hours of herbology together.
Ron and Hermione who sat on the row above Luna and Ginny were talking anxiously about the task and Harry when Ron stopped mid-sentence. Belle felt him lean closer and say, "Harley has some competition, Delacour won't stop ogling at Bill!"
Belle turned around and clenched her jaw, "Let's not mention this to her, Bill, my dad or anyone else for that matter!" Ron raised his arms in surrender and slowly manoeuvred backwards away from Belle.
The twins were doing rounds, as usual, collecting bets and joking around with everyone until it was announced that it was starting. The two then moved back to their seats which were in front of Belle and Luna, next to Lee, Angeline and Alicia. Bele sat forward and rested her chin on Fred's head and put her arms over his shoulders hugging him from behind.
"Is this what it feels like when you do this?" She asked him.
"Somewhat," replied Fred, "Except I don't wear a badger and lion hybrid on my head."
"Oh shut it you!" She laughed and moved to press a kiss to his head as the cannon sounded and Cedric and Harry entered the maze, closely followed by Viktor and then Fleur.
Then everyone was left to do as they pleased. Belle was annoying Fred by drawing shapes on his back which sent shivers down his spine. Fred, George and Lee were playing exploding snap whilst Luna disappeared to talk to Neville, Seamus and Dean.
It wasn't long before red sparks shot up and Fleur Delacour was brought out of the maze.
Then Viktor Krum was too.
The air was thickening as night set it and the wait for Cedric or Harry to win was becoming even more suspenseful. Belle was near enough falling asleep on Fred's head from the wait but a loud back was heard and then Harry's cries filled the arena.
"CEDRIC'S DEAD!"
Belle felt her heart drop like her head did onto Fred's shoulder as the tears welled up in her eyes. Fred shifted and pulled the girl down to his level of seats and onto his lap, cradling her as she dampened his jumper.
"VOLDEMORT! HE'S BACK!"
Belle shook her head and Fred tightened his grip, George and Lee also hugging the couple.
It was now the beginning of the end.
