You know it's funny. I really did like you. I didn't just like you because you are similar to Guinevere, I did really like you but pushed it aside because you liked Fred.
I really did Belle.
But you didn't want me.
You never will want me.
And I will never leave you!
Belle sat up crying. She hated it. Breathing heavily she looked at the time. It was lasts in the morning and she had been left to sleep.
She crawled out of bed and wrapped her dressing gown around her. Wiping her eyes she ran her fingers through her matted hair just as a knock sounded on the door.
It opened slowly and Molly poked her head around the door. "Morning, sweetheart," she smiled gently, "can you come with me please."
Belle was confused and didn't know what was going on. However, that didn't stop her taking hold of Molly's outstretched hand and following her boyfriend's mother down to the drawing room.
Remus stood central in the room and and Molly sat down on the sofa keeping Belle close to her side. "What's going on?" The girl asked, her voice quiet as she tried to focus on them and not what Enoch was saying to her.
Aw is pretty little Belle in trouble...
"Harley told me about what you both spoke about." Molly told her. Belle stiffened and her eyes filled with tears again. "And it's okay because we will get help and sort this out."
Belle looked up her father who looked pitifully at the girl and crouched down in front of her. "Darling, no one is going to judge you. As maybe as it is not a good thing, no one will be horrible about it. If they are I will hurt them because you cannot control this."
Belle shook her head, "but he won't shut up, dad, he won't leave me alone!"
Molly held the girl tightly on her arms, "how long had this been going on for?"
"About a month."
Molly closed her eyes, she saw belle as a second daughter and her going through this brought pain upon her heart. She kept the girl close, she was sure even Fred was ignorant to the inner turmoil and torment Belle was facing. She had notice him being distant towards her and it saddened her to think that Belle was facing this alone up until now. With what had happened to Harley, Remus' lycanthropy she was sure the Lupin's needed some luck in their lives.
"I'll take you to St Mungo's tomorrow, for today we will keep an eye on you and see what we can do. Is that alright, sweetheart?" Asked Remus standing up.
Belle nodded.
Remus called out for Harley, leaving the drawing room for a few moments. Harley greeted Remus at the bottom of the stairs who led her into the drawing room where Belle sat with Molly. "We need to take her to St Mungo's." Remus said to his cousin. "Hearing voices isn't a good thing."
Molly held Belle in her arms, the girl was crying after being confronted about what Harley had told Molly.
"Right. When?" Asked Harley glancing over at the blue-haired girl.
Remus looked at his watch, "tomorrow, Maddie and I are going. Thank you for not keeping it a secret, little one."
"Hidden secrets can be dangerous," Harley shrugged, she sat down beside Belle and placed her hand on her back. "All of this will be sorted, don't you worry about it."
Belle sniffed and swiped her nose with a tissue. Molly held the girl closer and rubbed her back. "Do you want me to get Fred?" Harley asked the girl.
Belle stiffened. "No! I mean, no, thank you. I don't want him to know. He'll think I'm crazy." Truth is, she had realised what she had been doing to Fred. If she didn't do it. Enoch would not leave her be. Not that he did anyway. But he let up a little if as obeyed him. She didn't want Fred to know because he would think she was making excuses.
Harley sympathised with the girl. "I understand." She stood up and left the room, thinking it was best for Remus and Molly to be there for the girl, after all, she wasn't the best and comforting anyone.
"Do you want something to eat, Belle, dear?" Molly asked the young girl after Remus also left to go and talk to Madison about the next day.
Belle nodded, she was starving having slept in late and missed breakfast. Molly stood up and held onto Belle's hand, taking her through to the kitchen where Madison and Remus sat at the table.
Belle sat down beside her father and curled up into his side, Remus placing his arm around her. Molly began to rustle up something for Belle to eat when Sirius entered the dining room.
"Little Lupin, do you want a cuddle?" He asked the young girl who looked up at him.
"She's already having one, Padfoot," Said Madison smirking.
"Yes, I can see that Leo, but I give much better cuddles than Moony." Retorted Sirius.
Belle couldn't help but giggle softly and Remus encouraged her to hug the man so that he would shut up. Sirius pulled her into his lap and wrapped his arms around her. "See, I made her smile!" He boasted running his fingers through her long blue hair. "Do you dye your hair?" Belle shook her head. "Are you a metamorphmagus?"
"No," she said quietly.
"This is natural?"
"No shit." Madison rolled her eyes.
Sirius stared at her hair in amazement. "It's gorgeous. I would love to have blue hair!"
"It's not that great." Belle mumbled.
"Oh but it is," Sirius told her, "I heard about it once. Those who are born with hair that is not deemed a natural colour enhance very special magic. Sometimes their power is known from birth, like a metamorphmagus, but in other circumstances their power may be presented to them later on in life. One man who was born with bright green hair only found out his power on his death bed, let's hope you find out yours before then, eh?"
"Seriously?" Asked Belle, her eyes now brighter and the tears were fully dried up.
"That is my name is it not?"
