It was growing late into the evening and Fred and Belle were still out of the house. Lyall began to prepare some dinner not minding that they were out longer than he expected because it meant his granddaughter was getting the well earned break she needed.

Fred and Belle remained laid down on the grass, their hands intertwined and their breathing heavy. Their breaths were forming little clouds as the air grew chillier but the pair of them were far from cold. Sweat beaded on their foreheads as they looked up at the orange sky fading into a deep blue with stars settling in the view of the sky.

Belle couldn't help but giggle, turning her head to see Fred staring up above him. Upon hearing Belle, he looked over at her with a smile, craning his neck to press a short but very meaningful kiss to her slightly swollen lips which will hopefully go unnoticed by her grandfather.

"Freddie?"

"Hmm." He hummed in response as her fingers fiddled with his.

"Why do you love me?"

Fred guffawed, "how can I not love you, Bella? You mean more to me than my hands do and hands are very important, you need them to do a lot of things. You're funny. You're adorable. You're a little crazy but no more than the next person. You're stunningly beautiful with your blue hair and eyes that make me weak at the knees and without you I wouldn't know half of the stuff I do know about myself. Does this answer your question?"

"It does."

"That's good then because I am out of ideas to express how much I love you." Laughed Fred, his voice jestingly smooth and airy.

Belle joined him and laughed, scooting over and resting her head on his chest. "Thank you Freddie."

"For what, love?"

"Putting up with me. I'm surprised you haven't opted to leave me for a chance of freedom and to get away from the drama. So thank you."

Fred wrapped his arms around her waist and held her tightly, "even if I did leave you, which I wouldn't dream of doing so, I wouldn't escape any drama because of everything else. In fact, you've been keeping me sane, Bella."

Belle furrowed her eyebrows, "even though I'm a psycho?"

"How many times? You're not a psycho, you just have some unique qualities. So what if you what voices? I hear a voice very similar to mine each day and I can't drown him out whereas you are managing to do so."

"Yeah but hearing George is not the same as hearing what I hear."

Fred nodded his head and sat the both of them up, he adjusted Belle so that she was now facing him. He placed his hands gently on her cheeks and forced her to look him square in the eyes. "You. Are. Not. A. Psycho. You. Are. My. Beautiful. Girlfriend. Yes?"

"S'pose." Belle muttered shrugging her head.

"There is no 's'pose' about it. Say it. Say you are beautiful."

"I am beautiful."

"Everything about you is. Even your blue hair which is... growing back...?"

"What?"

Belle reached up to her head, her skull suddenly feeling rather water-like as her hair follicles opened and let long strands of her bright blue locks flow from them, cascading like a falling leaf. Her eyes were full of panic as Fred watched in bewilderment at the magic happening. A smile crept onto Fred's face as her hair fell to bellow her shoulders in deep waves like that of the ocean.

"Fred, what's going on?" Belle whimpered as the sensation of her hair spurting gracefully from her head slowed, finishing altogether.

Fred took some strands in the palm of his hand, "I think your body is telling you that you need to be more confident more often, Bella."

Belle couldn't believe what had happened. She had seen a lot of magic but this was something else. Hair growing back naturally at such a rapid rate? Impossible! Belle scoffed in disbelief, the corners of her lips curling into a bright smile which matched that same one Fred was sporting dashingly.

"And should I?"

"Yes! One thousand times yes!" Fred cried, standing up and hauling the girl into his arms bridal-style. "Now let's get you home before Grandpa Lupin gets all worried, my beautiful Bella!"

Lyall heard the front door swing open, hitting the wall followed by a series of sniggers as he finished playing up some dinner for him and the two teenagers. Appearing from the kitchen, his hands on his hips the sight he saw was something unexpected. Belle being cradled in Fred's arms, the pair of them joined together in a sweet and beautiful kiss. His eyes trailed to his granddaughter's hair and to how happy she seemed which led him to return to the kitchen without making his presence known. He wanted Belle happy and so would leave the couple alone for a little while longer.

A short while late Belle and Fred entered the kitchen/dining room hand in hand, full of joy greeting Lyall.

"Hiya, Grandpa," Belle smiled kissing his cheek as she passed him. "How has your day been?"

"Very quiet but nonetheless good. How about you two? You seem happy and you look different to how you left earlier, Belle, dear."

Fred put his arms around Belle's waist and rested his chin on her shoulder, "we had a good day. Bloody brilliant actually. And it seems her body likes that because her hair just started growing! It was magical really!"

"Well we do live in a world of magic, son, it was bound to happen," Belle smirked and pulled away from Fred, taking a seat at the table sipping on Lyall's coffee which was sat on a coaster. "Oi, you cheeky so and so!"

"I get it from my genes," she responded winking as Fred sat beside her.

"All right, you two. Spill. You're unnerving me. What have you done?"

"Just enjoyed ourselves, Grandpa, you're the one that told me I need to!"

Lyall rolled his eyes and waggled his finger at her. "I blame your father! You're just like him. And Harley for that matter. You get it from your Nanny."

"I'm sure she would counter that and say we get it from you," a voice said from the door.

"Dad!" Belle cried jumping up and leaping into his arms. "What are you doing here?"

"Is it a crime to come and see my favourite person? Fred, how are you?"

"Scared now that you've said I'm your favourite person," Fred responded as Remus continued to hug his daughter.

"Yeah, we all know that's me," another voice said from behind him, Harley came into view with a smirk on her face, greeting her uncle with a kiss on the cheek.

"No it's actually me," Said Bill who also entered the kitchen.

"What is this? What is going on?" Asked Belle.

"I invited them to dinner. After all, I managed to get you out of the house I was sure that you'd want to see everyone else." Said Lyall, "now come on before it gets cold!"
