For all of you that read my lovely little story, I say a special thank you, and I hope you all enjoyed it. I would love to do a Q & A with everyone, so feel free to drop your comments and queries below. The ending of this story, was one quite hard for me to do. I was sure where I wanted the book to go, though some ideas came as the story progressed, the ending just was not one of those things. It was hard for me to decide exactly how I wanted it to end, and though I very much enjoy the way that it did, there was another ending!  What?!  Yes! This story could have ended differently. So, for those of you who have enjoyed the book and wanted just a little more, and for my more realistic yet pessimistic persons, here is how Precaution could have ended.

I stared out of the window, looking at everyone who passed by. They had smiles on their faces, and good things going for them. I liked looking out of the window watching everyone pass me by, because they always did. I saw Nyla and Kyle pass by and smile up at the window simply because they knew I was watching even if they could not see me. She had came over yesterday, and we talked, but as of late we haven't been able to connect. Maybe we were never able to.

I moved downstairs, to the kitchen ignoring the moving persons. My mother slid me a cup of water and an aspirin for my headache. I smiled at her as she did me and I walked to the living room. I sat beside my brothers and my sisters, watching the best movie the year had to offer. They fidgeted and moved all over, and could not concentrate no matter how good the movie was. My father, would constantly check up on me and my headache, asking if I were getting better, but I didn't know. He would console my sister whenever her thoughts troubled her and tell my brother to quiet down his anger at a minor text or the neighbors would hear. Lately, that was my day. Mother would bring lunch with fruit slices and Banana and Salt fish. It always tasted great to me, even if Alexa and Isaac complained. We would play video games and I would always lose, but it was never short of fun. Whenever someone would speak it was always weird, and always a joke to make us all laugh. I got tired and went to my room. I laid down in the comfort of my blue sheets to match my sky blue ceiling. It was just yesterday, that Landon and I laid here all snuggled up watching a horror movie, and began to create our own form of Fifty Shades. He knew exactly how to turn me fifty shades of red, and how to brighten my day. I reminisced on the day we started, when he mean-mugged me in class, when I borrowed that book. The days he annoyed me, the days he made me feel love, the days he hurt me, and even the day we said goodbye. But, we came right back to each other, just as lovers should.

It hurt that I had to get raped in order for us to drift apart and learn things just to be together. I guess distance does grow the heart fond, but without that incident, we may have never grown distant. While I was away, he would message me all the time just making sure I was okay. Even when I didn't want to answer him, it was hard not to when he sent messages like "Are your wings still flying today, Angel. I hope you're okay." It was hard not to love him, so I let myself. We got back together when he came to visit a friend of his in Rhode Island. Luckily, they were there because it gave us a chance to begin again.  As I laid in my bed taking off into outer space, I tuned into the nearby conversation.

"Ma, I'm so sorry you have to be here."     "She made top of her class this year, I know you're proud!"     "She's been begging to come and see you but I can't let her see you like this." He cried.

"Aunt Mae's stepped in a lot since that night."

"I'm going to College." He gasped.

"I'm going to Brown! I don't even know how I got in."

"I wish you could see me off. I keep hoping you'll get better when I know you won't!"  I could hear his voice cracking up.

"Anyway, I have to go, I love you!" He kissed the mute woman's forehead and got up from the side of her bed as tears flooded down his face.

I stared into his green eyes and didn't move.

"I'm so sorry for what my brother did to you, you would've had a bright future." He said looking at me before leaving.

Suddenly, my ceiling turned grey, and my room dull. My sheets turned white and I laid there tied to the bed again.

"No!"     "Stop!"    "Tom, Stop!" I yelled.

"Acacia!"     "Acacia, you have to open up or we'll have to stick you again." She spoke.

"Stop!" I fought looking at the still woman not too far from my bed.

"Aah!" I screamed. The man grabbed a strong grip of my hand, and she pricked me, calming every bone in my body. And I was on my rocket again.
